Functional Casual Shoe
Happened to be in-store looking for a travel shoe but wasn’t thinking of a shoe like this. After trying it on I was amazed at how well it fit and it’s comfort. Would not advise using these as a regular running shoe, but they’re great shoes for the casual office, a full day exploring a city, and even hold up well in light rain. The break-in period is one of the shortest I’ve ever had for a pair of shoes. The only part I cannot speak to is the durability but they seem quality so far. I’ll be sure to update this review if I have issues after logging some more miles.
Great Multipurpose shoe - ended up buying 2!
Worn for a few months now for mostly casual use: work, walking, fitness biking. Fit is very comfortable, and I ended up with a 9.5 size, other brands I'm often a 9. Very cushy, no need for additional separate insole. Easy to slip on and off with just enough stretch. The shoe can be a bit hot for biking/running on warm LA sunny days. As other reviewers mentioned, the metal tips can slap against your shoe which is annoying, but simply tightening the lace tips so they're close to the knot resolved that issue for me. For my use I've loved them, and this style has definitely replaced my last daily shoe!
Comfy Casual
Used for about 3 weeks, comfortable as running shoes, slightly better looks than running shoes. Fit is roomy and a little wider than normal IMO, which is a good thing. Only negative is the heavy metal tips that come on the laces. They bang around when you walk. I just cut them off and replaced with a short piece of shrink tubing and good to go.
Business meets Casual
These are incredibly light and stylish while also being comfortable. I wanted an all-round pair that I could use for going out, travel, and casual attire. These shoes checks all the boxes. The only gripe would be the shoe laces make a clinking noises when walking because of the metal ends. Also, because they're predominantly elastic, they can feel a little too tight if you don't keep moving in them. I'm also worried because they're so light you sacrifice durability. But I guess only time will tell. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, but I can't quite give it the full 5 stars.
Comfortable and Convenient
I bought these to be "everyday" shoes and they have filled that spot nicely. They are light, comfortable, easy to slip on and off, and have pretty simplistic laces (5-eye) that don't often slip or need re-adjustment. Yes, the metal aglets can be noisy if you don't lace your shoes and they bang on the street or ground, but how often is that?
Laces don’t come loose
First impressions are that these are very comfortable shoes. They are the first slip on type shoes I’ve owned even though they have laces. The laces don’t come loose as most of the shoes I’ve bought recently do. Grip on pavement and indoors is good. I’ve only owned them a few days so this is not a long term review. Bought them on sale and saved 50% so really happy. To me they also look like “Dad” shoes with the thick white side sole.
Solid & Quality Shoe
My first pair of north face shoes. I went with my regular sizing with Nike. And these babies fit like a dream. It’s like a teddy bear hugging each foot. Comfortable. Just the right amount of squeeze on my feet. Good arch support. Excellent squish in the soles. Leathery/suede material looks great too. I wish I bought a couple pair.
good looking sneaker
ok light weight sneaker comfortable now (it's new) but time will tell how long it lasts. shoe tongue is not moveable which makes it harder to put on and take off. Good looking sneaker hope it's as good as other North Face products.
Super comfortable shoes
Super comfortable shoes, right out of the box. A bit difficult to slip into, given that the opening is tight, but using a shoe horn, made it easier. I have use them on long walks, and also for dressy occasions.
North Face Shoe review.
These shoes go one very easy and are comfortable to wear. I have not done any long distance walking but several short ones on gravel trails. Support is fine and no issues yet. Love to wear them around everywhere.
