NICE boot: except a seam rubs on my ankle bone.

They just arrived and I was hoping that my HUNT for Winter boots had ended. These HAVE the nice "Keen Round Toe & high toe box" (the way the Older Keen styles were made). My heel was secure. BUT: There is a seam that lines up perfectly to rub & dig into my ankle bone. It appears to be where the soft lining of the upper cuff JOINS the other material used for lower boot lining. These REALLY have potential. The lacing seems fine. If you have "high volume feet" with lots of padding - you might not even notice the seam. I have BONY ankles and sort of bony feet (with Wide toes, narrow heel, high arch). TRY THEM!!!

Boots themselves are great. They kept my feet warm while working outside. I normally wear a 6.5-7. Store only had a 7.5 so I tried them. They were tight at a whole size bigger. I went with them anyways. I figured once they wore in I could wear thicker socks if need be. Have not had to. I have horribly painful feet especially around my great toes. These are the first pair of any kind of shoes or boots that I have been able to wear.

Great Boot for Wide Feet!

I absolutely love these boots. I was searching for a snow boot to take snowmobiling, snow shoeing, etc. and these are up to that challenge. My feet are warm and dry. I have pretty flat, and wide feet which make shoe shopping difficult. These boots are so comfortable and I can wear them all day without pain. The sizing is true to normal shoe size, they just are wide at the toes for comfort. The height is also great for my wide calves, the don't pinch or rub. The soles are flexible and lightweight, it feels like I have my summer hiking boots on! So glad I got these!

Delightful Wintery Boot

I was in need of a winter boot and wanted a boot that felt closer to a hiker than a clunky snow boot - these are wonderful! My feet are often overheated easily, but they never get too toasty in these. At the same time, these have kept my feet warm in incredibly cold conditions. They have amazing tread and flexibility. I would not only wear these to shovel my long mountain driveway, but also to wear on a wintery approach or snowshoe hike. Their height even makes it to were I haven't needed gaiters with them. I would highly recommend!
