This vest is light, and form fitting, but there is nothing in the features or materials that can justify its price...in fact it feels cheap and the construction and design is not durable at all for an active person. Returned. There are better choices at REI unless you absolutely must wear Arcteryx.

This vest is very warm. I like the colour (flux) as it's different than basic black. It is pretty expensive though compared to many other vests out there. The collar is very short and looks weird on. Its not a super flattering fit and the right elastic at the bottom makes the vest kind of roll under and ride up which makes it even less flattering. I'd go for a different model if you have the option to.

I got this vest to layer with my beta ar shell and synthetic insulated jacket. I personally like how the neck is lower, as I wear it layered with my other jackets, that all have higher necks ans hoods. I hate when that all gets bunched up around the neck, so this solves that issue for me. I love that it’s warm, compact and great for layering.
