Worked well.. for a few months

Overall it appeared to be a pretty good value, and a good brand. They make for a slightly noisy ride but definitely do the job of a fender. I've give it a 2/5 because the thin piece of whatever material it was screwed into gave out a few months after installation and began dragging against my rear wheel. I'm not sure if this is a design flaw or a poor installation by the REI tech. I am unsure because the other screw that goes into body of my bike was screwed in way, way too tight, and I have essentially turned the alan wrench head into a circle. RIP. Hope the threading in my bike is fine. Tech or product, I am thoroughly unsatisfied overall, an admitted rarity from REI. I will be doing all of my own installations from now on.

It broke

A piece for the rear fender broke while riding, seemed like a very thin piece of metal similar to the thickness of a pop can and seems like these fenders arent meant for riding on the regular. It lasted a little more than a year of riding so I'll rate them as fair but now I need new fenders.

Easy assembly

so much easier to assemble than fenders that require cutting of the support rods, can even be moved between bikes in the future. Color is accurate.

Great fit, easy to. install and adjust

Easy to install on my gravel bike with 700c/38 tires. No problem that I already have a rear rack. Easy to adjust and very solid fit. Still trying to work out if I can add my Garmin Varia rear light to the included fender light mount rather than a Bontrager rear light.

flimsy rear bridge mount

Easy setup and fit to my bicycle however the rear fender bridge broke a few months later. The bridge mount is made of flimsy aluminum that split in two at the 90deg between bike mount and fender.

Not a good product

Purchased from my local REI and the fenders were installed by their techs. The first time around, I got the bike home and realized that the install was very shoddy. As in, multiple attachment points were not fulled secured. It was as if someone got distracted during the install and forgot to finish it. Anyway, that was remedied on a second visit. But within 3 weeks, the rear fender has broken at one of the attachment points. REI replaced it under warranty. But, again, the rear fender broke a second time, this time within a month. Another reviewer mentioned that these fenders don't seem to be designed for daily use. I ride my bike for commuting on streets and paved trails in the Seattle area. I'm not doing any riding that would be considered extreme in the least. So for the fenders to break twice within a month of use tells me that it's just a shoddy product.
