I had ordered the shoe and based on the size chart mine being 9.5 thought the 43EU-10 would work. I could barely get my feet in the shoes! I went to a 44EU-11 and they fit like a glove! I would also say that if you have very wide feet these might not work for you... Excited to use them but thought this would be helpful for all who consider them. Of course no worries about returns once the stores reopen.. REI easy to do business with. Should add free shipping was almost next day despite 7 day expectation.
I wear between a 10.5 and 11 shoe so ordered a 44 per the size chart. Felt like about a 9.5! The description says "slightly roomier" fit but they are quite narrow actually. Otherwise looks like a very nice product. Arrived two days earlier than indicated also.
I purchased these as my first set of SPD shoes. I picked them for the highlighter color for improved visibility, the BOA has both a ratcheting tighten AND loosen function that is generally found only on higher end shoes, and reviews saying it had a wider toe box (I have wider feet). Unlike other reviewers, I found these shoes to be true to size. The only downside (that ultimately forced me to return them) is the tongue was a little long and rubbed on the anterior of my ankle while walking around the house. Otherwise they fit great, and would be a great shoe if not for that one issue for me. Would definitely recommend to at least try them out. For anyone wondering, I ended up with the Shimano RX8 and have loved them so far. Similar BOA / velcro design, although much more expensive.
I wanted to like these shoes but unfortunately my feet are too wide for them. Feet were going numb after like 10 minutes. Adjusted seat height and a couple other things alas still very uncomfortable due to the width.
