Love the design, but my pair is now unwearable
I was really happy with the style of these shoes when I found them, after looking for a more casual shoe for a while. Things were great until the shoes started to smell. Kind of like mildew. I tried some shoe freshening tips but it just got worse. After taking out the insoles, I realized that there is a cardboard material underneath and it must have caught enough moisture to grow mold or black looking. Why is there cardboard material inside of the shoe!? It seems like a huge design flaw. I’m going to try to return and see how it goes. Sad that I can’t wear them anymore
Comfortable & durable
I've worn these shoes almost daily for about a year and a half. Aside from some fraying at the top of the heel (from being too lazy to tie/untie my shoes) they're in great shape. They ran a little warm in the hottest weeks of the summer, but they broke in easily and were comfortable for long stretches of walking or standing.
