Awesome and comes with carry bag
Exceptional quality and comes with a drawstring backpack that’s big enough to hold their shoes and chalk bag!
My daughter loves it
Very sturdy and comfy harness for little kids. My 8yr old daughter is very tall and skinny and the harness is able to securely fit her while remaining comfortable during extended time projecting routes. She’s had it for 6 months and loves it.
99% perfect for little climbers
First, REI shipped it very quickly, thanks for that. This Edelrid Youth harness is *almost* perfect for smaller kids. The waist and legs shrink down to an adorably small size, but otherwise it has all the features of an adult harness - safe and easy adjustment, good padding, back leg loop straps that unclip for quick bathroom breaks - it's all there. I especially like that they added an elastic strap between the legs, so the legs can't get twisted. That means a young climber can put it on themselves without help after the first time. The only thing that would make it 100% PERFECT, would be of the belay loop was a different color, to identify the front and the tie-in point faster. I teach climbing at a Scout summer camp where the smallest kids had to wear the uni-size webbing harnesses, which are a nightmare to get aligned and put on. I bought three of these Edelrid harnesses out of my own pocket to save my sanity. We put them to use the day they arrived and they make me smile because it's SO easy to see these Edelrid harnesses are on right and tight! My blood pressure has gone down 10 points! ;-) We have so many small Scouts learning to climb that I wish I'd bought a fourth harness, because all are in use some times.
