LOVE this versatile stroller and you will, too!
This is the third stroller I've owned (one is super light and the other a jogger), but it is by far my favorite! We have a 5 yr old and we got the new stroller just in time for our second child's arrival. My goodness, it is gorgeous (we have the grey) and it just feels...nice! No more stroller envy here. I swear any time I take it out people turn to look and ask me about it. We opted for the bassinet attachment (for baby's comfort and also an adapter wasn't available for our carseat) and it has been a dream. In fact, it's a must in my opinion - acts as a travel bassinet since it comes off the stroller easily. We took ours into family's homes, to the beach, you name it. One night during our travels the hotel forgot to put a crib in our room and we were just fine until it got worked out because baby slept soundly in her stroller/bassinet. This is not the lightest stroller I own. It can't be with all of the options and features packed in, but it pops up and down like a transformer with ease. We purchased the travel bag for air travel and it fits perfectly in there, even has instructions right on the inside of the bag. I only wish that could have fit our bassinet, too. The Thule Sleek maneuvers easily in busy areas and off-roads just fine - a huge plus! My husband calls it our Cadillac. The storage compartment beneath is quite generous and uses a combo of magnets and zippers to close completely, saving you from losing your items. You can even fold the stroller up with a little bit in there. Thule thought of everything. There's even a spot at the back of the stroller where you can clip a diaper bag. The adjustable handlebar is also clutch! I am short, husband is tall. It's great that we can adjust easily and quickly as we trade off "driving". The shade canopy seems so well made and allows as much shade as you could need, and it's really convenient that the stroller comes with a rain shield included. Oh, and we also purchased the glider board add-on for our son. He has so much fun riding and "helping" to push the baby around. I suppose I'm a bit of a fangirl at this point with how much I'm celebrating this stroller, but I wanted to call out every detail I could think of as I've appreciated those from others in my kid product research. There is so much I've yet to take advantage of, like the parent facing child seat, recline, etc as my baby grows. I wish I had this stroller years prior. It's so versatile for just about any individual or family configuration. I'm looking forward to using this stroller for years to come.
Great for Twins!
I love this stroller! I use this stroller for my twins that are currently 5 months old. We are in it everyday and it is very user friendly and fits through all store doors! The storage space has plenty of room. We currently use it with the maxi cosi car seats. I find that the ride is very smooth and even with a big load we can manage to maneuver through all terrain and obstacles. I would recommend to twin moms looking for a double stroller!
Versatile
We have had the Thule Sleek for the last 6 months to use with our first child. What really draw us to this was the known quality of Thule built products. What we really love after using this nearly everyday is the ability for the stroller to handle more aggressive terrain. The wheels both front and back are sufficient to handle very uneven surfaces while still being smooth. We routinely do 3-4 mile walks with this stroller and aren't thinking of needing a replacement due to the variety of rough or uneven walkways. Very happy with this purchase. Premium product. Thanks Thule.
Great Stroller!!
After using this stroller for a short period of time, this stroller is great! Very smooth and easy to move through small spaces (i.e Amtrak train). The Sleek stroller was very easy to put together straight out of the box in no time at all and folds up quickly by the click of a button on each side handle. The rain cover that comes with it is also a life saver! My little guy seems to be very comfortable in it and the harness to strap him in is simple! I like that the bottom compartment has a zipper to close it up great for personal belongings that need to be brought along.
Great full size stroller, great for light off-road
We bought this 3+ years ago for our first child and it's been amazing! We used it with our infant carrier for the first few months, but we were able to switch to the stroller seat in lay flat made at about 4-5 months. We've taken this stroller on more walks than I can count, including light off-roading and snow, never had a problem pushing. Still looks almost new (aside from sunscreen marks and a little sun fading). It's also a nice looking stroller, similar look and feel to UppaBaby and Mockingbird, but with the history and construction of Thule -- which is what sold me.
Awesome stroller!!
This stroller is awesome!! Extremely easy to assemble, with the parts just snapping together, and so durable once put together. We love how it is so versatile depending on what you are trying to do and look forward to adding another seat when the time comes. It’s nice that the seat can be turned so the baby is facing you if you want or away when they are older. Highly recommended stroller for walks around the neighborhood and town. The wheels are able to take bumps really well and make for a smooth ride for baby and easy pushing for the parent. Overall, we love it!!
Looks even better in person!
We just received this stroller and I'm really impressed with the quality! It looks even nicer in real life than in the pictures. The fabric is a nice weight seems very cleanable and would probably shed some water/juice/milk as it is a tight weave and not absorbent. The stroller was really easy to put together out of the box (took about 5 minutes). The handling is nice and I love the big storage bin on the bottom that zips totally closed. I hadn't noticed the size in the picture it's really spacious! I'm very pleased with this purchase.
Premium Sleek Luxury Stroller
Why did we pick the Thule Sleek over other strollers ? 1) Safety features : Frame is very sturdy, secured harness system and brakes are easy to activate. 2) Comfort : It has adjustable recline positions, padded seating, storage space on the bottom and very smooth. Can be a little tight for two children but still very comfortable. Wide strollers for two children are a no for us because too bulky. Prefer this style instead. 3) Maneuverability : Smooth and easy to steer. 4) Durability : Ive only had it for a couple of weeks but going based on the frame and wheels etc. it looks like it will do just fine. This is our 4th stroller we have some type of experience with strollers. 5) Convenience : Compatible with our car seat, it easily folds, has canopy sun protection and has easy access to storage compartment. 6) Style and Design : We love the Sleek design and thats one of the key features why we chose this stroller. Frame alone instantly loved it and knew it would be a comfortable. The wheels which we were most picky about chose Sleek because we are not big fans of small wheels. This is a step down from a running stroller which creates comfort. The bigger the wheel the more comfort the stroller from our experience. For us its a Medium size wheel which is great. And its designed two put more than one child having multiple options on how you want to seat your child or children. Conclusion : We love this stroller due to design, capability, comfort and brand. Thule makes products that last long and get your moneys worth. Its a Premium Sleek Luxury Stroller. We recommend this stroller and best one so far out of all the strollers we have bought.
Very disappointed
Back to the drawing board Thule. Clearly no parent ever tested the stroller or took it for a walk before going to production. The handle is so terrible it's hard to describe. The handle is not round...it's kind of like a rectangle with rounded edges. It's really uncomfortable in every position. It's hard on the wrists and gives me blisters. In the middle of the handle is a little plastic thing for hanging a bag from. It's permanent. It's right in the way. It makes pushing the stroller with one hand very challenging. The rumble seat only works in the lower position. It does not work in the upper position. I don't get it. Why not? I understand that the larger seat might be too big for the lower position and only mounts to the upper. That makes sense. But it makes no sense that you can't use the smaller rumble seat in either position. That means I am constantly switching between seats and messing with different clips. What a pain. Oh yeah, did I mention the two seats look exactly alike. There is no color coordination or any identifiable markers to help you identify which seat is which and which seat goes where. Then there is the buckle system. It's really difficult to latch. The latch is overly complicated. Next flaw is the useless roller board. It simply cannot be used with two seats on the stroller. It can only be used with one seat. Total waste of money. What else you ask? How about the 4 screws that came loose within the first few weeks. The suspension squeaks incessantly, the zippered cargo cover is always in the way and has no way to roll it up and tie it out of the way, the flap on the back of the basket does not stay closed and the foot brake gets in the way. Positives: Compact for being able to carry two kids. Rain covers are great. Seats have nice fabrics and very large shades. For that kind of money I expected greatness...like the Uppababy. Shame on you Thule for making such a crummy product.
Works well for our family of 2!
We use this stroller every day, almost always with an infant in the car seat and toddler on the roller board (he calls it his "skateboard'). It's a smooth ride and works great for our purposes, a family that lives in the city and mostly uses the stroller to get the kids and their stuff from the car to daycare (a 5 min walk). It handles great on any kid of city street, is compact, and turns really easily. Because the seats are seperated more than any other in-line double stroller, you can recline both at once to allow for two resting kiddos. The handle is very comfortable to me and I don't mind the piece in the middle where you can clip bags etc. without ripping up the softer material. The fabric quality is great and canopies etc. are sturdy. I have not had any issues with the storage area underneath - we mostly leave it unzipped and pile stuff on top of the flap, but also have closed it on occasion and appreciate that feature. I have a few gripes that would have me give it a 5 star review if fixed -- it would be nice to have a bench seat attachment option like the Baby Jogger; when folding, the front wheels have to collapse in and sometimes get stuck and require trying a few times; when adjusting the handle (which goes tall enough for my 6' husband even with a kid on the roller board) you have to line up the handles just right to close the clips again and secure it which is hard to do with one hand, and the cup holder pops off when it is folded (not a big deal for us but still). Overall love this stroller though and prefer it over the Uppababy and Baby Jogger.
