Very useful item--hang your pack anywhere.

I bought the 50 lb one. I used this summer on trips to Hawaii and Montreal and Quebec and it had a lot of uses: Hanging my pack in bathrooms, at tables in restaurants, at sites to take photos, in planes from the back of the seat in front of me, and from other luggage. It kept me from having to put the pack down on the floor. I just hope it is made well enough to last a long time. Packaging says made in China.

Carries better than the Med. but not as versatile

I really didn't know what size to get and what would be the most versatile so I went to the REI store and immediately knew the mini was out. What attracted me to the small was a combination of its pocketability and its ability to hang correctly on, what I thought, most tables. It worked for a while until I had to bring my bag into an Olive Garden and the small was too small. I eventually got a medium and have been using that day to day. It's a little clunkier on my bag compared to the small and I don't pocket it but it accommodates more tables. I've moved the small over to my sling pouch because a medium on that pouch would be way too big and clunky. I still gave this product 5 stars though since it's a nice size, has a solid build, and works for the intended purpose.

Keeping it Close

This is my second purchase of this Carabiner. First off - it is not designed to be a true carabiner and support your weight, made to hold things. I got the first one to use on my daypack I use when traveling. It worked so well I purchased another for my wife's daypack. We travel quite a bit and with this on your pack top handle you are able twist out the exterior hook and it will hang on the table while eating, thus having it out of the way in tight little bistros hanging securely under the table. Also on bus tours I've been able to use it to hook the daypack of the top of the seat in front of me freeing it from my lap and allowing me to focus of taking pictures. In airports my pack will sit on top of my roller carry-on and the hook holds it securely to the extended handle of the roller. I've been able to use it to secure my bag out of the way while tindering into shore from cruise ships.

Great for travel

I use the when I travel. I could hang my packing cubes and toiletry stuff to anything. It also is a great clip to hold a water bottle in place. I purchased the mini too but it was small and doesn't hook onto things easily. This size is also great to hang your purse on a table or counter. I'm buying more as gifts!

HEROCLIP rocks it in the ER!

I love this little tool. I have used it at work to hang IV bags from overhead surgical lights when IV poles aren't readily available or when they are full. It may not be what it was intended for, but it works great. I love my HEROCLIP!

Super useful

An all purpose carabiner, used it as a belt (use some cord and connect the ends with it), as bags hanger to keep them off the ground, hang lights around the campsite... Love this thing!

Endless Uses

I have several of these HEROCLIPS, 2 small, 2 medium, and one mini which I keep in my purse for those restroom stalls with no place to hang my purse. These are great for hanging my pack when I day hike anywhere so it won't end up in mud, dirt, or whatever nature has to offer. Great item!
