Comfortable but not durable
I loved this shirt at first. It looks great, the fit is perfect, and the material is really soft and comfortable. After wearing it twice however, (once for a hike and the second time I wore it casually for the day) the material in the seat of the shirt has already begun to wear out and pill (see photo). I will continue to wear it, but pretty much exclusively for activities outdoors. Bummed
Love the material but it fits big
The shirt is great and I love wearing it but the problem is in the arms. The arm holes are very big for a size small. The sleeves sit low and are wide. I wish them made a slim fit. Other than that it is a very high quality shirt.
Super comfy, but maybe buy a size down
The 1-star reviews are overly harsh imo. This shirt is super comfy but does run big, so definitely consider buying a size down if you’re unsure. Tbh though, it’s meant to be a comfy shirt and it’s cut like one. I wouldn’t wear this on a date, know what I mean? Great light work shirt too, handles getting wet way better than pure cotton (a perfect “wash the car” type shirt). REI has a great return policy too, so no need to lose your cool and leave a 1-star if it fits like a big chillin’ tee…just send it back if need be and maintain your peace of mind.
Oversized
Nice fabric, comfortable but it oversized little bit
terrible quality
I bought this shirt less than a month ago and already looks and feels terrible. Completely oversized in certain areas and does not fit well and the material is cheap. Only glad that I got it on sale and it didn’t cost me much but I don’t think it is worth more than $5 for what it is. Do not buy.
Comfortable, good fit, nice look & environmentally
I am very pleased with this t-shirt. It fits well, looks better than most, a bit more formal than others, a fair price, and seems to be environmentally conscious. Better quality product at a reasonable price, what's not to like?
Great Deal - Poor durability
I bought one of these shirts, wore it once and fell in love with it. Then I bought two more, I even found them on clearance! So I have two green shirts and one white shirt. The white shirt picked up some color that leeched from a dress (in a cold wash) and fits very loose now (same for one of the green shirts). I'm considering going back and replacing them but sad that there is little chance that I will find some new XXL shirts that fit well.
Runs very big!
Runs very big!! I'm a medium in most t-shirts, and I was swimming in this. Hard to comment on the shirt otherwise because of the sizing issue.
Great shirt
This shirt is very comfortable and seems very durable. It runs a bit large, but that was my preference as I wanted maximum breathability.
Not worth the money
For the price you would expect this shirt to last. It doesnt. After a few months and a handful of washes the neck was completely stretched and sagged. Almost unwearable in any setting where you need to go out of the house. This is what I would expect for $5 at a chain store, not $35 from REI. Disappointed.
