Love my new duffel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 20 yo Eagle Creek backpack that is still in great shape after years of use/abuse; I still use as my electronics travel bag. When I started looking a duffels, I came here. In the pics and description, the Migrate looked like a solid weekend/carry-on bag, so I ordered the 60l because it looked like the right size. I expected the bag to be really good, but didn't expect how well thought out the design was, especially the hide-away backpack straps. With this bag, I can safely through out my old gym bags. I kind of wanted the obnoxious yellow, but it was out of stock. I got the silver/orange one instead. It looks great.
Top Notch Duffle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The space is generous and the quality is top notch. Multiple handles allow me to grab the duffle from anywhere and it's easy to find a handle quickly. Also the main handle is large enough to fit over your suitcase roller handles. The backpack straps are very handy and I am really glad they are on the top so when you set the duffle down you don't get dirty straps. They tuck in snuggly and so far I have not had one come out of its storage when I have checked the bag on an airplane. The one thing I wish was integrated into this duffle is a built-in luggage tag so I don't have to have a dangling one on the strap.
Not the best
Disappointed that this bag isn't even water resistant. The Velcro to keep the handles together wore out very quickly. The zipper pulls are placed in such a way that the leading edge of the zipper gets pulled downward. This make it difficult to close when the bag is full. I'll be returning this bag.
Well made
I bought this bag to travel light. Get on and off a plane easily with. It’s amazing! Very sturdy and very well made. I took it to Chicago in the winter along with my camera bag. The hidden back straps made everything a breeze. When I got back I bought the 60L.
Repeat Customer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Incredibly durable. I bought 120L 3 summers ago for Alaska fly in fish trip needing large size to hold weeks worth of clothes/boots, etc. Have loved it every since. However, I decided I needed a smaller weekend size duffel so purchased 60L recently and not disappointed. Very rugged material, heavy duty zippers, and side handles to grab - should last forever. The only missing thing is the nice padded "backpack straps" that I have on 120L which is nice for easy of carrying distance - like in airport. My son was given a Patagonia which is nice but Eagle Creek is much better value.
Good but buckles cheap
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Strap buckle broke after clipping it just 3 times. Otherwise it seems like its a decent bag.
Great gear hauler!
Only used it a few times but it's a great all around gear bag. I'm surprised how much I can fit in the 60L, it's the perfect size for my waders and fly gear.
Great sturdy bag
Needed a larger size duffel. This bag is great, love the convertible backpack straps. It’s super bright color and heavy duty zipper are awesome.
Built like a tank
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased the 40L in Coral. When I quickly realized how amazing they are I purchased the 60L too. The bag is tough! I'm not concerned about anything happening to it because of how well it's made. The best feature has to be the hidden backpack straps. That really makes it look clean. The only thing I may have added would be an inside pocket. I'm currently on a Chicago trip and I find the bag very accommodating. Lots of handles to grab the bag to maneuver in tight situations like on trains and buses. Thumbs up
Great tough Duffel at a good price.
My kids "stole" my duffels from P. So I bought one on sale. Loved it so much that I bought two more. They are super tough. Handles everywhere which makes them super easy to pick up and through around. Off the luggage belt, into a car, onto a motorbike or drag them out from a boat. They are not waterproof... then neither are the ones with the P. But they are plenty water repellent. No problem in a heavy tropical downpour. And they are alot cheaper. On basis of price to performance. 5 stars.
