Works well, not worth the weight
This product does work well and as expected, however it does not seem worth it for me. I used it for blowing up a backpacking sleeping pad; it did this well, but not well enough that it's worth carrying it's minimal extra weight. If you had a larger car camping pad or similar, may be worth it, but I'd rather use 10 big breaths blowing up my pad at camp than carrying it.

Great piece of equipment

This product serves me well in pumping up my sleeping pads, the REI Coop Flash and the REI Coop Stratus. I now have two of these pump sacks because they are ever useful. They're great for compartmentalizing things in your backpack because you can use it to suck the air out of things, compress them, and keep things dry since the bag has proven to be quite waterproof. I've used this sack to store things, as a bear bag to be hung, to inflate my sleeping bads, and interestingly enough, I've used it as a bellows for fire starting to save myself from huffing and puffing. **Just be sure that the nozzle works with whatever inflatable sleeping pads you use!

Multifunctional and works alright with Nemo Pad

I got purchased a Nemo Insulated Tensor sleeping pad from ReSale, so it was missing the pump sack. A REI team member was kinda enough to help me pump up the pad to see if there were any leaks and he pulled out this Quickflow pump to do the job. I was happy to find no leaks on the pad and was more than happy to purchase the exact pump he used. It’s not an exact fit, but it worked well enough for me, plus I didn’t have to wait for an online replacement order from Nemo. Although I haven't used it as a stuff sack yet, I love that it’s multipurpose and I’m sure I’ll use it as a sack in the future.

Almost a knockout. Still a cool piece of kit.

Interesting piece of kit. Works as a bag liner, and inflates pads unbelievably fast. It didn't connect to my thermarests with the wing lock valve but it blew up my REI Flash in one go. Air flow is slower and takes more force than expected, but this seems like a good surprise. I imagine the restricted airflow goes a long way towards reducing the risk of damaging the pad. This thing would really shine with a few modifications. Making it water proof and roll top would make it a better liner. Giving it a more universal connector would be great. I want to love it. It fills up my pad faster than my Flextail electric pump. But it's just missing those few bits of detail that roll a product over from good to great.

Fits Big Agnes Double Z valves

I got this for a Big Agnes Insulated Double Z pad that I have, and it works great, fills it with about 3-4 sackfuls of air (well, really it's half-fulls, but it's giant, so those half-fulls go a long way). I fill it by just holding it open with two hands, and that fills it about half way, which is a lot of air. I got the REI pump sack because the Big Agnes equivalent of this, according to Big Agnes, and product reviews, did not fit my sleeping pad (Insulated Double Z). The gray adapter thing on the REI pump sack fits the Double Z valve, you just have to use a bit of force to push it on the valve. I'd recommend trying it on a well lit counter once or twice, where you can see what you're doing, before using it out in the wild.

Works great

Works as expected. Lightweight and it's seems to be durable (based on a couple of uses). I am using this product for a recently purchased Therm-a-rest pad from REI with the classic valve.

I hope we're doing something wrong...

I got this for my son for Christmas since my Big Agnes works WONDERFUL but doesn't fit his REI pad. We attached it to his pad and ZERO air would come out of the pump sack and into his pad. We finally got some air to flow by physically pushing on the one-way valve inside the pump sack. Now it will fill but extremely slowly and intermittently and we regularly have to push on the valve on the pump sack. We're going to take it into REI to get them to show us if we're doing something wrong. If we're not, we'll be returning this pump sack promptly. I am very surprised that REI has a product that works this poorly.

Works perfectly with the exped deepsleep mat duo

I got this to pair with the exped deepsleep mat duo and it fits that pad perfectly with a little extra room to spare. Nozzle fits perfectly as well, and there's a little pocket to store the repair kit.

Versatile pump sack.

I recently got this out of the Used Gear bin at my local REI. I was reading reviews while in the store that were very confusing, there weren't consistent answers about compatibility with the sack to pads from various manufacturers. But it was so inexpensive I thought I would give it a try. I can report that, YES, this is compatible with the Thermarest Neoair XLite (original valve), it took about 1½ sacks of air to inflate it. The valve attachment worked great, it locked onto the valve solidly. YES, this works with my older (2013) REI AirRail 1.5, I had to remove the sacks' valve adapter and used it straight into the pad. It also had a positive connection and didn't pop off. It took about 1½ sacks to fill as well. YES, this works with the Cascade Mountain Tech air pads with the flat valve. I had to reverse the valve adapter so the larger part was facing out, it fit into the valve but didn't lock in, so care had to be taken to keep the sack attached to the pad. I have not used the Quickflow as a pack liner, but its large size and drawcord opening leads me believe it works work well as a liner, although it wouldn't be as waterproof as a nylofume liner or proper dry bag, but in fair weather I think it would be a good way to give little more protection to your gear. I do wish it had a roll top instead of a drawstring though, it would help with trapping air and pushing air into the pad. And it would be nice if it could "lock" into the CMT pad valve, but that isn't a huge deal, since I don't use them and only have them as loaner pads. It is nice that this big sack can also roll up into its own drawcord pocket, it saves space when stored in my pad/pillow bin, bundled into a tidy little package. This was worth the small amount I paid for it, and for its versatility and ability to attach to a few different pads I think it's a good bargain even at full price.

Handy

I just purchased this just now. I was looking for a pump sack for my 3 yr old Thermalite Neo Air with the older screw open/close valve. After a short learning curve, this sack works as advertised. My issue was, i was trying to inflate my sleeping pad without the gray adapter in place on the pump sack....which wont work. After snapping that back in place and hooking up to my pad again...viola...worked great!
