I use it as a baby bag

I use this bag for my 16 month old. I bought it in green and it has plenty of room. I like how there are two separate main compartments. One holds the diaper and wipes. The other holds her food and silly cup. The strap adjusts easily and the bag hangs nicely on your back. I read others say their iPhone didn’t fit in the Velcro front pouch. Mine did, but I don’t have a plus sized iPhone. My mother does and her phone won’t fit in the pouch. The other pouch on the front that zips around will fit the big iPhone however. Overall, I love this bag!

Received as a gift and loved the style of the bag. Unfortunately less than a year later the big zipper broke. I checked the company website and it states that if you didn’t purchase directly from them they won’t uphold any kind of warranty. About a week later I took it to the REI store that my mom bought it at (they did have record of the purchase) & they told me it had just gone over their one year warranty timeframe and wouldn’t let me exchange either. I did’t use the bag more than a handful of times before it broke, I would consider it cheaply made and since the company won’t stand by their product I would NOT support them or buy another product from them.

Excellent bag for many uses.

Got 2 bags, 1 is used as a baby bag very spacious for its size, fits diapers, extra clothes, medication, and front pocket perfect for a bottle. 2nd bag used as a bike trail bag, very tough made bag handles many drops so far, big enough to hold a smaller hand pump, the main reason for the bag, does not impede riding bike. Design is very unique compare to many previous bags owned, great product.

Poor quality zippers, ok otherwise

I like the design, both the layout and the fabric print. Good sized pockets, carries well. I am 5'5" and size women's medium. It can be tightened just barely enough. Another few inches would be great. If you are smaller, you might have trouble cinching it down enough. The zippers feel super cheap. I had read this in another few reviews and didn't think it'd be a problem, but it's kinda absurd for something this pricey from a good brand skimped on zippers. Fabric is ok, not sure how well it'll hold up. Overall I like it but it could be improved, the value isn't great.

KAVU Rope Sling Bag great for travel on planes

I bought the black sling bag to use on a plane as my second carry-on. Medicine, shaving kit, snacks, water, papers, earphones, and charging cord all fit with ease. The sling cords kept the bag on my shoulder without slipping. With the single sling the KAVU was easy to put on my shoulder and remove it at my seat. It easily fit under the seat in front of me and did not reduce the space for my feet. It looks good and works well. Best purchase I have ever made for this purpose.

Broke with barely any use

I loved the bag, and I only used it a few times before I had to return it. The strap started to rip off of and there was no way to repair it. The heaviest thing I ever put in there was a journal, some tampons, and a fuji instax mini camera. The bag was so lightly used that it still looked brand new when I returned it. I was able to get a partial refund. I really wished this bag worked because for the brief period when it wasn't broken, it was mostly great.

Extremely comfortable

I got the "fall valley" colorway, which is a maroon and teal design. I love the color, as it is reminiscent of a backpack from the 90's to me. The front pockets are small, but I plan to carry a small sunscreen and a disposable camera in those pockets while I travel. I intend to use this as an airplane personal item and a day bag while traveling. So far I have taken it on a hike and I was able to put a 40 oz hydroflask in the larger compartment. It was a bit of a squish, but it could fit. There should be no issue fitting a smaller water bottle along with extra items. It can also comfortably carry a library book and items like wallet, keys and phone. I swing the bag around to the front if I need to access the pockets to get my wallet out or something. The shoulder strap is more comfortable than you might think.

Excellent!

This is my second bag of this brand and style. I am a dog walker and a rideshare Driver. I wear mine around my waist like giant fanny pack. It suits my lifestyle perfectly, because my hands are free to walk the dogs and when I drive passengers, it stays on my body out of the passengers way. I am rough on stuff and they are extremely durable. The first lasted me almost two years!
