Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated.
BUST: Measure around the fullest part, across bust points, keeping the tape horizontal.
WAIST: Measure around the narrowest part (typically the small of your back and where your body bends side to side), keeping the tape horizontal.
HIPS: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.
PANT INSEAM: Inseam refers to the pant length of the garment, from the crotch seam to the hem.

Great for a young figure; not so for an older one
These are a quality Pearl Izumi product. However, compared to an older pair I own, these are much shorter in length. And rather than hugging the waistline, they fall far below it -- a better look for the younger rider, I suspect. Well, I'll keep them, but they aren't optimal.
Great quality biking short
These are my favorite bike shorts with the most comfortable padding, and I love the grip system at the bottom of the legs. The waistband is really comfortable, too. As for size, I guess they run small, I'm more of a medium but I took my chances and got the small (no medium in stock). They were tight at first, but I lost a little weight, and now while still tight, they fit well. I actually like them a little on the snug side, my medium shorts now could be tighter. They sit a little lower on the waist, I prefer that to having the waistband cut across my bellybutton. I'm 5'2, so the length is great, and 129 lbs. Overall, medium would fit me better, but the small has been adequate and they are an excellent quality short.
Great Fit
I love the shorts, they fit great and are comfortable to wear unlike some that cut the circulation off in your legs, these do not.
Runs small
Runs very small will be sending back. Normally wear a large.
