Works Great, Bit Narrow
Wore it during some 3-5 hour treks in water throughout Zion National Park. Bottom Line: Pro: Comfortable -Sheds water like a duck -Light Con: -I generally wear wide shoes. If you have wide feet, order a size up. - Didn't hold up as well as expected after 4 days of hard use.
Using for paddleboarding
Been using this shoe for paddle boarding at first but then realised it that comfy and breathable that it my go to shoe for walking about in hot weather. Defiantly order .5 size less, mainly because your not wearing your socks
Shame That These are so Narrow...
These are really a great idea... fold-down back, light-weight. I wanted to use them for a second set of shoes traveling, water, walking in town etc. If you have a narrow foot this will be a great shoe for you. My foot is wide so I had to return them. The advice for a 1/2 size larger is accurate.
Super convenient
Bought these a couple months while trying to get over Alaskan winter; unfortunately that was before Salomon put up the notice to buy a half size smaller. On that note, I have noticed that these fit a little loose and roomy, and there is extra room at the end of the toe box. However, with the back up and laces cinched, I've had no issues and have never felt like they were going to slide off. I also love the back folding down, as it makes them super easy to slip on and after a race or just running an errand.
Great Summer/Water Sports Shoe
I use these all the time in the summer, usually with no socks as they’re labeled as amphibious. Great grip on paddle boards or boat decks or hiking down to the river. My only complaint is that the Salomon labels have peeled off the shoe, but they’re also been abused pretty regularly. I also really like the cinch closure system, I find it much faster and more secure than laces.
Great Light Weight Sneaker
Purchased the Amphib last fall after being fed up with a lack of breathability of most sneakers for the hot Texas weather. These are fantastic! Light weight and cool even with a think running sock. When they get a bit dirty or smelly, I toss them in the washer with my clothes and they come out as new. Can use for water sports or a short jog. Great everyday sneakers.
Great all-purpose lightweight water shoe
I bought these shoes to use my backcountry adventures, but find I like them for walks in town as well. There are a number of stream crossing in my area (Aspen, CO) and these provide stable footing. They are also idea for camp shoes, as they are extremely light, quick drying, and one can fold the heel down to act as a slipper.
Shoe or Slide
I have had these shoes for about 2 months and really like them. The super soft heel that can be folded down so that you can use the shoe as a slide is a nice feature. The shoe is comfortable (not like the sock like Sensifit design of a lot of other Salomon shoes) but still very light and well built.
Rubs The Top Of Your Foot Raw
Poor design. Being made for the water, who wants to wear socks with them ? But if you don't wear socks, the underside of the lace areas will rub you raw. Also, they are narrower than other Salomon shoes I have, so trying to wear socks with them makes for a tight fit.

Cool in summer
I don't like wearing socks in the summer and wanted something more comfortable than a sandal and these do the trick. They fit me true to size without socks and are comfortable. They will be excellent water shoes, you can see your feet through the mesh uppers.
