Solid!
These are super comfortable. Found these after wearing other style Five Ten in size 9. Those curled up at the end and where to small. These pro shoes in size 9 fit very well. Feel solid. Have great grip. I washed them today after a muddy ride, fan dried them and they turned out great. I bike both downhill and trail.

Huge sizing jump from womens' 6.5 to 7
5 Ten has a strange sizing jump between women's size 6.5 and size 7. I normally wear a 7-7.5 in sports shoes. The sevens are huge with nearly an inch of extra length beyond my big toe. The 6.5 seem approximately the expected length but the toe box volume is significantly smaller (both narrower and flatter). Had to return both sizes. Too bad. My husband loves the way the 5 Ten sole pattern grips his flat pedals

Fitted shoe with good power to the pedals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two pairs of 5/10 Freerider shoes, one of which is a number of years old. This is my first pair of the Pro model. It’s a much smaller, narrower shoes with a much stiffer sole than the standard Freerider. I was concerned about the sole adhering to my pedals because of the stiffness, but after a hard ride in them I think they’re better. I never “lost” my pedals. I bought my normal size, but if you’re looking for more toe room you might go up a 1/2 size. I wore them around the house, ran some errands and went for a walk in them before I rode in them because they’re pretty stiff out of the box.

Adore this shoe!

Perfect for riding and walking without falling down. As a senior with some balance problems, I can't ride with clip shoes These fit the grid on the Chester Race Face pedals with points at REI, and my feet don't slip off the pedal. When I have to walk, these are quite stable and comfortable. I bought a second backup pair right away because it is so hard to find bike shoes that fit. I ride mostly streets paths, and wear a women's 11, and ended up with a 44 because I need a high and wide toe box but a narrow shoe. Love these guys! It is best if you try on bike shoes in a store or buy five pairs by mail and return to a store. Very hard to get a good fit, and I'm thrilled after trying on at least 20 pairs. (Adidas owns the company.)

so lite weight.sticky traction.wide laces&comfy

I have other free riders, but these Pros take it to a whole better level.soft comfy so darn lite weight, grippy, un like my others that are smooth in the middle of the sole w/partial nobby. the Pros have those round nobby bottoms the entire sole.i love these.i like the wide fat sturdy laces too.super tacky sole,my feet never slip off..please make more blues, pinks, purples, with the light grey!!

Brilliant great bike shoes!

Exactly as everyone else is reviewing Five Ten shoes, great bike shoes! I’m 5.5 shoe size but I always get a half size up - they fit perfectly and there’s a bit of room left. My right foot is wider and the stiffness of the shoes also doesn’t affect me. They’re very comfortable. For me great bike shoes, not for longer walking but I’ve purchased them for cycling. Waterproof, good and reliable grip, comfortable and nice looking too! Highly recommend.

Best shoe I’ve worn

This shoe delivers the ideal combination of all-day comfort and unbelievable pedal grip, with the perfect amount of sole stiffness added in. I have tried quite a few other flat pedal shoes over the last three years, and this one is unbeatable. Worth the price, since they feel well constructed and bombproof. The soles grip the pedal pins and then seem to rebound, avoiding the quick wear I’ve seen from (less-grippy) shoes. They look good, too, which is always a plus. If you’re a serious flat pedal rider, don’t waste time and money on anything else. So long as the fit works for you, this shoe will deliver.

Great shoe!

I love these shoes- they're super comfortable and sturdy. Could wear them all day. I went down one size, from an 11 to a 10, and recommend doing the same. The grip is great for what I'm doing; intermediate cross country and mild downhill.

Amazing quality shoe!!!

I am in love with these shoes!!! Right out of the box the quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. They fit perfectly, true to size. I am an 8.5 and the 8.5 fits perfectly. If I had gone down to an 8 they would have been too small. And I never wear a size 9. The stickiness of the shoes is great on flat pedals. I am able to lift my rear wheel with ease in these shoes and they do have a good grip on pedals so much so that it takes more effort to reposition your foot on the pedal. This is great thought. I like the stability and confidence these shoes give me on the trails.

Great shoes...would recommend to others.

Great mountain biking shoes. Would recommend to others. They are much better than wearing running shoes. I didn’t realize what I was missing with proper shoes. With these and flat pedals, my feet stay where they’re supposed to be. Going to buy my husband a pair, now.
