Great Shorts But Not Consistent
Love the brand, material, and versatility but definitely recommend trying on before you buy as I have found quite a bit of inconsistencies in the sizing from inseam length to overall fit (relaxed vs slim).

Great until they fall apart
I found these shorts so comfortable that i purchased about five Vuori shorts in Banks and Ripstop style over a short amount amount of time. But after using them I learned that they are not durable. My shorts have loose threads, easily ripped, or in the case of the Ripstop, started to Pill relatively quickly after purchase. I'm more of a desk warrior than adventurer, so I was disappointed. I engaged Vuori support but they wouldn't cover it under warranty. They offered me a small discount on a future purchase to go away. Not the best support i've experienced. I love the shorts until i have to throw them way. Sadly this has happened much sooner than the rest of the brands i purchase. So i can't recommend them, especially at their price point. But they are comfortable and versatile, so if you don't mind blowing cash to replace them on a regular basis than they might be worth a look.

Fell apart before one year of average use

I love these shorts but the stitching is garbage . Not even 1 year of year of use and the shorts are literally falling apart. This is not even like there was a minor tear in the thread this is like literally the stitching in the entire shorts all over it’s just coming undone. This company is in no way shape or form anything like Patagonia although they pretend to have a lifetime warranty it’s only 120 days after purchase.

Pretty great. Some threading issues.

I've owned 3 pair of the banks shorts for about 3 years with heavy use. They have held up really well. Couple loose threads here and there to trim, but really great otherwise. The thread seems to be the weakest point...One came slightly apart at the crotch and I stitched back together with Nylon thread. They changed the overall fit over the years though. I wore Large in the previous version with ample room. Now I wear XL and even still have a slightly snugger fit. No, I did not get bigger. I would recommend sizing up especially if you have an athletic build around the waist/seat/thigh.

Great all around athletic shorts

I have purchased six pairs of these shorts in different colors and I love them. They are so comfortable to wear and I like that they are stretchy and quick dry too. Now I only wear these to walk, run, play pickleball, and workout in and they are great. The small zippered pocket up front is great for holding keys and other small items and I like that the drawstring is on the outside and not the inside of the waistband. I have two pairs of Nike shorts that I used to wear but I don’t anymore since I got these. I think they are a bit pricey so I bought them when they are running the 20% off sale twice a year.

My favorite all-around shorts

I mostly use these shorts for swimming because they dry incredibly fast and I'm not a fan of liners, but also use them for lounging and working out. I've had one pair for over a year and worn them an absurd amount of times, and they're just barely starting to show signs of wear. Just bought a second pair, and my only complaint is that the sizing between the two is inconsistent. Last year I bought medium which are still a perfectly tailored fit for me. This year I had to size up to large, because the new version of medium are just too snug and short for me. I am 6'1" and 175 lbs. Love the brand -- I own kore shorts and several pairs of pants also. They're pricey, but the quality is worth it, in my opinion.

Disappointed

I really want to love the brand but the inconsistencies are ridiculous. I have purchased 4 to 8 pairs of the same size, style, and cut and have had inseam lengths range from 6 inches to 9 1/2 inches with varying amounts of fabric in the seat. I think it’s a great company with a great set of core believes but if you are particular about the way clothes fit these may not be for you.

Great all-around shorts!

I love everything Vuori and these shorts are no exception. I wear them to lounge, work out and even swim. However, I did notice a small hole appear after only a couple of washes (and no dryer) and I'm worried they are not going to last. Other items I have all seem to be very good quality.

Wear everywhere

Have been looking for a day to day short with recent brands having failed in a few months. Rhône had served me well but limited styles available. These are incredibly comfortable, go quite a while in between washes and allow for moderate exercise. They also dry quickly should I swim mid hike/at home. Quality workmanship such as steel end tips to pull cords.....reminder of bygone days when this quality was the norm. Recommend highly. Next up I will be purchasing their lined shorts. Only gripe.........I am a medium in everything (and still am) but for this brand a large.
