Simple, Clean, Delivers
I purchased this boot along with Burton Mission bindings and an Arbor Foundation board. I had previously been renting size 10 Burton boots which were comfortable but very used. When I tried on a pair of new Burtons I was shocked at the difference in comfort. The new ones were snug and I questioned the fit and found out that the rentals were probably to loose because of the age and breakdown of the foam. So the fit is super important and I was glad that I test fit before buying. If you have never tried on new boots it is real important to get fitted. I choose the Burton Moto Boa because the look was subtle and the reputation of Burton. I really wanted the Boa feature as I found that traditional laces did not give me a constant fit. Meaning that each time you put them on you would have to tighten each section of laces to give an even pressure all the way up the boot. The Boa gives me a more consistent fit each time. You have to only decide how many turns to tighten for an even pressure. It was simply the consistency that I was going for. The inner liner was so well fitting that I never had heel lift or any other problem areas. It was snug in a comfortable way not tight or restrictive. I am really flat footed and the boot was very comfortable for me from the beginning to the end of the day. I normally do not get cold toes so that is usually not an issue and I did not find these boots to be any warmer or colder than I expected. If anything I felt that it was simply a non issue, which is great. So after the first day of riding using Burton Mission bindings I found that there was some wear on my rear foot toe cap. Actually on the edge of the material where it was stitched to the piece below.. Nothing significant but something I was not expecting after one day. The other foot looked brand new. So it may be my settings or the nature of rear vs front in control movement. Again nothing more than an observation and really just a cosmetic issue. Rental boots look like they have been to war and back so this is really being very picky. Afterward I removed the liner to clean them up and dry them out. They were easy to remove and reinsert. There is a little Velcro on the back of the heel to keep the liner in place which is a nice touch to keep things in place. As part of my overall system with the bindings and board, the boot fit is the most important but the flex is also part of that experience. The boots were not to ridged but had a comfortable flex. It is a solid boot and it felt well made and should last for many years. I board about 6-7 times a year.
Awesome boot!
The boots are super comfortable from the first time you ride with them. Kept my feet warm and dry. I don’t even think about my feet which is exactly what you want in a boot. Oh and you can heat mold these, BUT wait to ride in them a few times before you heat mold them. You want the boot to be molded to your own riding style. Definitely not required to heat mold though.
Worth the Investment!
Amazing boots! These boots are beyond comfy!
Super Comfy, Construction Not Most Durable
These boots feel great and are easy to take on and off. However after a handful of rides the boots began to tear near the seam by the toe. Maybe I got a bum pair, but something to be mindful of.
Nice boots - but size up!
Great fit, but size up! I wear 11.5 in Nike shoes. 12 in Vasque winter boots, and 12 in Merrel trail boots. 12 ended up being too small in these Burton snowboard boots. My toes were rubbing against the front even in a thin running sock. Go up a size when you order!
My favorite!
- The lacing system is quick and easy. - Soft and comfy. - Got size 9.5 although my all other shoes = 8.5.
Love it
My feet were dry and warm all day! I have bad ankles and these boots have very good support. My left ankle was a little swollen but I was also using a used snowboard that was not tuned for my stance so I will blame the board lol. Little ice and I was walking fine the next day! Will absolutely recommend to everyone and anyone who asks "which brand boots to go for". The price is worth it!
Great Boots
Fits perfectly! Love the boa system makes adjusting the boot so much easier when you’re on the slopes. Definitely recommend these if you’re looking for quality Snowboard boots.
Super lightweight, provides a very supportive fit.
Super awesome boots!!!! They fit very well right out of the box.
Super comfortable
These boots are very comfortable, and true to size. No issues with the BOA system; my only "complaint" is that they don't hold my heel in place as well as I would like. Verdict: great boots for beginners that will keep you riding all day!
