Best down around

A few years back I got the high loft in black. Without a doubt the best down I’ve ever owned. Great fit. Comfortable wearable hood. I’m 5’9” 155#’s and I can wear a down sweater and under layers under a size small in the loft hoodie. Also the hoodie is bomber on fall nights with a light tee. I pretty much wear it constantly and just bought the Industrial green today. So I’m set for years to come

Nice but not for cold winter weather

5'10" 150 lbs. Average build. Great fit and well made. I like that it is longer and not too loose around the waist. But this Hi-loft version does not feel as warm as the regular Patagonia down sweater/hoody to me. Felt thin in the shoulders. This one is 600 fill, regular version is 800 fill. Returned for refund. Thanks.

Feels great, but is long

The jacket feels great and I love how lofty the down is. However, it seems to be quite a bit longer than other down puffers that Patagonia has. This jacket hits 3 - 4 inches lower than the same size in the Patagonia Down Sweater Hoody. For this reason, I ended up returning and exchanging it for a Down Sweater Hoody instead. If you're tall or looking for a longer option, this jacket would be a good pick.

Perfect ALL around winter down

I already have 2 nano puffs which caused a resergence of Patagonia in recent years. I was missing a good, much warmer jacket that is NOT Canada Goose!!! Right now, REI only has 2 boring colors, so I purchased deep green elsewhere. I am 5'10, 160 lbs, and the Medium fits perfect. Not a deep back woods, also not a sweater down, or nano...just right. (I am rating it warm, but warm for a jacket like this).

If it had snaps in the front it would be even better. Not as warm.as my other shorter women's rei puffer.
