These are the water shoes I've always wanted
I normally wear size 6 1/2 shoes, and per advice I read in other reviews I bought a 7. They fit perfectly - comfortably snug but still room to move. I love that you can still feel the texture of the ground under your feet while being protected from sharper rocks or shells, and they hug my feet like socks. I ran around the camp ground in these all weekend and I felt super cute and comfy all the way (note - out of water they did make my feet a little sweaty - it's the only down side, but they didn't really hold a smell, so I think it was worth it).
Lightweight booties
These water shoes were perfect for my needs. The fit was perfect. I wore them wading in the low surf for protection from rocks and shells. Bear in mind, these are not heavy shoes. If you are expecting more of a water athletic shoe this might not be the best choice. But for swim and wading , and even some short walking on sidewalk, these should be great!
Slips off the foot while surfing
These need a strap of some sort to keep them on your feet. If you kick your feet at all in the water or even just fall off your board, these get pulled off your foot.
Runs SUPER SMALL
VERY SMALL.. They looked like kids size when I pulled out. They FIT like kids size too:(
not sized well
The booties I ordered were a size 6 US and that is what the pair I received says they are, but in reality they are more like a size 4. The sizing is at least two sizes off.
Soles too thin
I like that it is lightweight once I’m in the kayak, but walking on anything other than a smooth surface is difficult because of the thin soles. This means that I need to carry shoes in my kayak which is a pain. They are comfortable for what they are
GREAT REEF Booties
These booties are perfect for surfing! I read other reviews and bc it’s so tight and small, they don’t come off while surfing. Yes, they do feel snug at first but once you get in the water, it feels perfect and secure. They are bulky, I highly recommend them
Probably a really good shoe
I typically wear a European 36. These are sizes 36,37 and we’re too small. Looking to exchange then for the next size up.
