I find it hard to actually clean any sip lid; therefore hesitate to use reusable sip lids due to worries about bacteria build-up. This Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Flex Sip Lid is the perfect solution. I use it for my workouts everyday now. The lid comes apart into pieces so that I can easily make sure that it is all the way clean. Taking it apart and putting it back together takes a little bit of learning; fortunately the lid is marked with directions on how to do it. No spills will happen when the red indicator is showing through the top of lid. It will definitely spill if it gets knocked over and isn't turned shut. Highly recommend for your Hydro Flask.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lid fits like a charm to my hydro flask bottle. It is supposed to fit all wide mouth bottles so I have the option of changing out the colors. I took the bottle to work and then went for a hike. It kept my water cold for a very long time. The lid is very easy to clean. The strap makes clipping it on to my backpack or holding it during camping easy. No longer do I have to haul around bottle water that isn't even cold. Great for the environment as well not having to use plastic bottles. I take it hiking, camping, and even work. The tight seal prevent spilling, which makes me happy because I can't stand leaky seals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got a new Cub and I needed to get a good reliable lid for this cup because I love my drink to be cold and i also want the lid to be spill free With some good decent Weight on it I must say this is an awesome lid its screws on easily and while drinking the drink flows very smooth in freely and it's not like stopping or giving you air bubbles this is also very easy to clean I must say I am in love with my set .

Just a simple twist to open and close for an ice cold drink whenever I want! Also the lid is able to be taken apart for thorough cleaning which is a plus! I truly recommend this product!

Bought this for my boyfriend as a gift. We are both disappointed, it leaks terribly. Seems to be an overcomplicated non functional design. We finally figured out the round clear gasket seal under the top seems to be the culprit. The seal never stays in place and when it comes loose, everything leaks out the middle. Not great constantly spilling hot coffee all over. I have the old flip lid on my hydro for coffee use. It had worked great for a couple years and now also leaks (due to the 2 little rubber plugs inside the flip disintegrating over time with hot liquid). On top of that, my wide mouth hydro with straw lid was leaking water constantly, so I ordered a new one, and it also is leaking (water pools where straw top folds). If any of my hydro's are laying on their sides, they leak out. I now have multiple stains on my car seats due to non functioning lids. I really want to like hydro's, but for how pricey they are, these leaking issues needs to be figured out. My old Contigo snap top for coffee never leaked, and was much cheaper. Also my bf's Yeti he's used for years, for water, doesn't have any leaking issues either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to utilize the Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Flex Sip Lid with my 20 oz Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Tumbler. As a busy mom, always on-the-go, I absolutely love this lid option for drinking my coffee and tea in the car, while shopping or when at an event! This lid fits securely on my tumbler and features an easy-twist option for opening and closing the sipping spout. I love that the red line indicator makes it simple to see that my tumbler is sealed. I have had no issues with leaking, and love how hot my beverages remain, even hours after pouring. The easy-hold handle is a huge bonus for me, as it makes carrying my tumbler easier when I have other items (or people) in tow. The Hydro Flask brand holds true to its high-quality promise in every way!

Pros: A well designed product. It has not leaked at all! Nice to have a handle. I prefer this over both the snap lid or the straw lid. Cons: No directions from Hydroflask for the disassembly, though it’s not difficult. Pay attention during the disassembly as the interior rubber gasket is “direction sensitive”. (Installed properly I’ve never had a leak.) Too many parts. Disassembly and cleaning is necessary after each use unless using the Hydoflask for water.

I ordered this lid and it leaked between the top and bottom where it twists. I sent a note to customer service online and the next day a new one was on the way, no questions asked. I love this lid because the strap makes it easier to carry and it comes apart for easy cleaning and it is easy to open and close with just a twist.
