Smith  Holt Snow Helmet

My goggles don't fog. I would give 5 stars, but the size adjustment is slow. So, if you sometimes ski with a hat under the helmet you will need 3 minutes to adjust helmet.

I'm a green skiier, and prone to getting lost. I got this color so that my friends could find me easily on the slopes during those breif moments I was actually standing upright. It's been comfortable, warm, and never had an issue. Solid buy. Wear your helmet folks.

I wear this helmet with googles year round when riding my ebike. I wrote the company and they confirmed it was rated for bikes. I duct tape the holes on top during the wet rainy winters in Portland, OR. It's toasty in the summer, but no worse than a motorcycle helmet. On an ebike it's perfect. I haven't needed to make adjustments like other reviewers but it's similar to any standard helmet. No fancy quick draws... Overall I have few complaints other than the weight, but compare it to others, it's not much heavier than expensive helmets. Last note, you can stick Apple earbuds in the ear pieces with a Bluetooth receiver for wireless audio. It has slots just for an audio system. No issues in rain, they're sealed well enough. Standard earbuds sound terrific even though it may seem crazy. I use the wired earbuds apple ships with iphones but anything would likely work as well.

I have to return the helmet because there are gaps in the top of the helmet. At first I thought they would be able to close but the are vents only covered with mesh. Who wants their head to get wet?

Adjusting for size is not really an option with this helmet. The tabs that adjust break easily and cause discomfort. For your child spend more money and it will make your trip better.
