Disappointing

I was so excited about this jacket. I want so much to love it... Buuuuuut... For starters, it's HUGE. The size chart says I should wear a medium, but I ordered a small, since I'm not a medium in *anything*, and it's still WAY too big. The too-big-ness is made worse because the jacket is just SO boxy. I was expecting a more flattering cut, since this is supposed to be a stylish, technical piece. More importantly, it's so, so, so thin. It may be 800 fill down, but there's barely any of that down in between the sewn-through (not baffled) construction. When the feathers leak out, which they will (because no baffles), this jacket will be 100% useless. :*(

Pullover of my DREAMS!

This is the perfect down pullover!! It is super lightweight, but still very warm and windproof. It is also very water resistant. I got splashed by a wave on a rough ferry ride and the baja dried off in a few minutes, with no loss of warmth. Love the little details like the side zip, which allows you to pull it on more easily, and the inside zipper pocket. I initially ordered an XS based on the size chart (my normal 27 waist), but decided to size up to a S so I would have room for layers underneath.

Best layering piece!

The fit of this jacket is boxier than I would have preferred. I considered returning it, however decided to give it a try. Despite the fit, I love this jacket - the small size is amazing for layering under other jackets; I could hardly tell I had it on. I used it as a layer in the backcountry for snowmobiling and actually had to take it off because I was too warm. Threw it back on when we stopped for a break and warmed right up. I'd highly recommend this jacket. I'm 5'7" and generally medium in size. I purchased a medium and probably could have gone to a small, however to be on the safe side the medium is just fine.

Size M...Great pullover, lightweight and warm .....cold vermont days i wear it like a sweater under a warmer shell, super cozy! I am 5'4" 135 lbs and what one would call an apple shaped body....square shoulders, more narrow hips...this fits great! Plenty of room to Add layers underneath as well. It is a little long in the waist, i roll it under.... Color was happily almost magenta...hot pink and yet not quite, have had quite a few compliments. Couldn't be happier. Would add for all us petite proportioned gals, it would be great to see outdoor companies at large run petite lines........love it!

A+

I was so so so excited to receive this jacket in the mail. I had been looking to upgrade my old REI down to a warmer and lighter version for months, and finally landed on the Baja Pullover. The biggest perk of this jacket is by far the weight. My XS feels almost weightless and it so comfy to wear. Unfortunately, there is not a huge quantity of down between the sewn baffles so I doubt it'll be as warm as I had originally hoped. It also felt too large for my frame, despite ordering the smallest size available. I'm 5'2" and found that the sleeves drooped too far below my wrists and the torso area was pretty bulky. Petite sizing seems to be a problem at many outdoor gear companies, so expect the same here.

Warm and comfy

The jacket is warm and comfortable. It is a bit boxy, so fits a bit tighter around the hips than something designed more for women. There is a zipper on the side to adjust if it's tight in that area. It's also a bit shinier than I would prefer but overall I still really like it a lot!

I have worn this jacket everyday since my purchase!

On sub-zero days it's my second layer between the base and the wind layer. On warmer, dry days it's my outer layer.

Sleeping bag with sleeves

If you're looking to make a fashion statement, this pullover might not be for you. I am 5'11, 150 lbs. Broad shoulders, small waist, wide hips. Most mediums in outdoor gear fits just slightly on the larger side for my body; perfect for layering. The other reviews are not joking - this pullover is very bulky and does no favors if you are looking to accentuate a small waist. The shoulders and hips fit just right, but I could easily smuggle a whole chicken out of a grocery store with room to spare in the waist. Luckily, I was looking for something cozy that I could fly and recreate in, and I'll likely throw in some nights around a campfire too. I wanted to rate this 3 1/2 stars, but since that wasn't an option, I am a 'rounder-upper'. :)

Amazing Jacket

As the other reviews, please make sure you size down, it does run big which is amazing for us busy women. It actually fit my bust, which is a dense C cup. I wore this in the rain, it was hailing actually, and worked flawlessly. Not labeled as waterproof, but this lil guy held out with its water resistantancy. Can confirm it is windproof. Works really well as a one layer or main jacket. I live in North Oregon, in rural area/woods where it is quite cold. Used and tested, I'd say this a jacket needed for your wardrobe.

Great jacket. I’ve wanted a anorak for awhile now. Looked all over. Found this and ordered it immediately. It came quickly. I love the color, and it fits perfectly.
