Returned them - plastic lace hooks
No, I do not recommend this product
These fit VERY comfortably (they must run small as I would have bought the size 10 even though I am usually a 9 or 9.5). BUT the hooks were made of plastic and to me that is not durable enough - one snaps and that ruins the whole boot. The return policy is only a year so since it's the end of the winter season, I didn't think I would get enough testing/use out of them to see if the plastic really would hold up. Rather than risk it, I returned them. Disappointed! because I loved everything else about the boot (well, maybe not super wild about the shade of blue).
