High quality jacket, but didn’t fit right

I never got to actually use the coat as I’m returning it. It was a perfect coat, awesome quality, perfect pocket placement and light weight. My problem was with the hood/face area. When I put my helmet on and zipped the coat up, it just about choked me. I’m 6’3 210. The jacket was XL. I wish the zipper didn’t go up so high on the chin or that they left some extra room so you could zip it up all the way with a helmet on. To be clear, I don’t ski with the hood over my helmet, as this is even more restrictive. You'd think a “helmet compatible” XL hood would fit over a XL helmet, but that completely restricts all movement.

Cold, wind, sweat => out

My go to jacket. Layers well, breathes and packs well. Tons of pockets that don’t put the stuff in them in weird places... (like cargo shorts. What, honestly, is the point of putting pockets where your stuff is just going to smash the sides of your knees?) Loose enough fit to not be full-on-BC-Arcteryx-kook, but slim enough to not catch on trees and other gear. No nonsense, fully functional and comfortable. I fit a Large FlyLow jacket w Med pants, but I have short legs. Though outerwear can run a bit short. Layering jackets I can go medium. (Like the Crowe micropuff, which is sick).

Incredible Fit And Material

I am 5'11, 160 lbs and I got a size Large and it fits as well as I could hope for. I split my time touring and skiing the resorts, and this jacket has a relaxed enough fit to accommodate any amount of layers underneath, but is also light enough to not feel bulky and rigid. With all the right pockets in all the right places, and staying as dry as possible during some early season touring missions I have no doubt this jacket will hold up for many, many more days to come.

A resort shell eager to step out of bounds

Super water and wind proof as any shell should be. I was worried the orange (aperol) was going to be way too bright from the online photos but when I got it delivered I found it to be a much more reasonable brightness. Good if you want to be found on the mountain but not so bright you're the only thing people see. The arm pocket is great for your pass in resort and it's got enough breathability to stay on during sidecountry hikes.

Big guys beware, XXL is small

Great looking jacket, wished it fit. My XL Arcteryx was a little small for layering underneath. I bought this in XXL for some extra room, and it was the same size or smaller than my single XL Arcteryx which everyone says run slim. Unfortunately I will have to return it, and I live 1.5 hr + from a store, so I'm either making a road trip or spending $$$ to ship.
