Would've been perfect but the Sleeves were too short
I purchased the MONTAGUE BLUE colour and when I say the picture does not do this jacket justice! It is beautiful, the colours are vibrant and I find it to be a very trendy jacket. It was a lot thicker than I had assumed. I purchased for this to be my son's Fall jacket and had realized it could just very well be used for Winter. My ONLY issue and it is why I have to return the jacket is - the sleeves are too small. I had read reviews about others having the same issue with other styles so I was prepared for this to be an issue. My son is small for his age so I had hoped this wouldn't be the case. Really unfortunate because other than that, this jacket was perfect.
Good quality wish for more pockets

Rubbish cheap texture
Purchased this item since the Brayden was not available and had to return it. It's thin, feels cheap and looks cheap. We purchase North Face coats year after year for our growing boys because we know thAt the quality lasts and we are so thankful to be able to hand them down to family or friends and see them handed down again. This winter is jacket, is not THAT winter jacket. I wish they'd just reissue the Brayden like they've done in years past.
Serious zipper issues
In January there aren't many kids jackets available. This one was so we got it even though we really wanted GoreTex but none was available in that size. The zipper won't do up and gets stuck when it does to up and requires a ton of force to unstick, Kid hates wearing it because of this and leaves it open when no adult around to spend minutes trying to get the zipper to go. Most disappointed with this jacket and brand.
Love the jacket
My nephew found the jacket on line and fell in love with it. He is 12 and was able to research exactly the jacket he wanted and the size he needed. So website is super user friendly. Jacket looks great, warm, comfy and stylish. He will usi it for skiing.
I would buy again
The large fits my 12 year old son perfect. He is 5'4" and 100 lbs The jacket is very light weight. I purchased it because of the wind and water resistance ratings. He can always layer for warmth but we wanted to be protected from the wind when skiing.
Great jacket!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 yo loves this jacket (and so do I). He has gotten a lot of wear out if so far (skiing, skating, sledding) and it still looks great. No complaints of being cold this winter. Would recommend this jacket!
Same Zipper Issues
Like the other reviewers, the zipper on this jacket was a lot harder for my 7 year old to pull up. We own other North Face jackets and he has never had a problem pulling up the zipper except for this one.
Great jacket!
Purchased for my son for snowboarding. Vibrant color, fit is excellent, construction is sturdy and made to last. Lighter weight than his old jacket but keeps him just as warm. Would definitely recommend!
Versatile, Cool-Looking Winter Coat
