My daughter is truly excited with this jacket

When I first saw it , I thought oh my gosh this is only gonna be used for Fall and Spring; however, thanks to the early Winter, we are having temperatures as low as 35 degrees. She wore it immediately after taking it out the package. She has been wearing it to school daily even in the variants weather with a light sweater. It's great for rainy days too. De

My daughter is so with her jacket.

She wore it straight out of the package She has been wearing it daily since. It's perfect; it accommodates heavy clothing making it really flexible. I initially thought it would only suffice for Spring and Fall; however, the early Winter afforded us the opportunity to put it to the test. It has kept her warm in 30 degrees weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about this yellow jacket, is that it's very pretty color, and it has a hood, it really helped me block out the wind for daily times.

great for kids

Son just used this for playing around (with a warm fleece underneath) in the mountains. Was great for a day of playing in snow and sleet, keeping him dry, and was also a decent jacket against the wind that was ripping up this week. I would recommend for kids as the weight and the material is pretty tough and withstood a good beating but didn't look like it needed anything more than a wipedown.

Small details make a big difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love rain jackets, and North Face has always made the best ones for kids! This jacket has the lining & hard shell that is just a bit thicker, and I like it better than the 'zip line' north face jacket (which doesn't have the Velcro or zippered pockets). Only improvement is to buy the two-in-one jackets but it does make the jacket heavier duty. I like a lighter weight for everyday use in FL.

Great in the rain

Bought this for a trip to Ireland after being warned of the rainy weather. It did a great job of keeping the rain out. On the trip, realized there was a small hole in the pocket. Other than that, well made and definitely keeps the rain out. Hood comes down over eyes sometimes. Did breath a little so doesn't get too hot. Is also great for blocking the wind.

Siskel & Ebert Two Thumbs Up. 97% Rotten Tomatoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Soaking up waves of heat as I sit silently, planted before the fireplace as a Fireside chat's radio chatter crackles over the old radio - podcasts these day, they're referred to as I'm told. The ambers and kindle aren't the only crackles this evening. My recent The North Face purchase rests on a coat hanger - proud. I'm stoked my kid is stoked.
