Color perfect, not a bulky coat either.
I purchased this for my 5 year old for next winter, I also purchased the boys version as well for my 7 year old. I went with the Triclimate, as we live in Western SD, therefore we can have a 60 degree day in January followed by a 10 degree day next. We spend a lot of time on the soccer fields in the Spring and Fall, so this will be a perfect coat to add the layer onto or remove if needed. I had a Spyder coat for my 7 year old prior to this style after many North Face coats and went back to North Face because of the qualify and warranty. Just cant beat the warranty and the quality that North Face produces.
Great 3 in 1 Coat
I bought this coat for my 8 year old daughter and she just loves it. The fact that it is 3 in 1 really provides a lot of versatility. Time will tell but the coat appears to be well made and very durable.

Size Up
Originally ordered a medium, my daughter ( 83 lbs) and it fit just right but felt she would not get more than one year use so I returned for a larger size . My only complaint, when calling customer service is that you can not exchange through mail - only do refund and you basically I have to buy again for bigger size jacket , and wait for refund on the one I mailed back , very inconvenient. Other than that the blue color is beautiful with 2 in 1 jacket.
I will always buy this for my kids
I purchased this same coat (or very similar) for my youngest when he was a toddler, and I will always purchase this coat for him. Why? It fits literally almost all weather conditions for my area: rain, wind, freezing temps, etc. The coat is versatile and his previous Northface coats/hats/gloves have held up for a minimum of 2+ years. As a parent, getting my money's worth is important as is comfort, so this really is a win-win for the whole family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought for my daughter who's 63" and 115lb. Got XL and it fits her slightly loose but she's 11 so she will grow into it. Got it for skiing and also got matching pants. She loves it. Also use for rainy days without the underneath lining but just the shell since it waterproof. Jacket is a little long down to her upper thigh. It covers her back completely so perfect for skiing
I will continue to buy these coats for my children.

It met every expectation I had for it. I am concerned with washing it and it easily taking stains as it is a light colored jacket. I was also very happy that I could get the matching hat to go with it.
Happy with Service & Color Option
Bought for my daughter. We ordered a large based on the picture notes of the model's size etc who was wearing a medium. My daughter is smaller than the model. We ended up having to reorder for an extra large. The hood is a tight fit as she can't put it up without unzipping the coat partly which will be an adjustment.

It's not adjustable and it's either off or completely on- covers more of her face than she feels is comfortable and therefore ends up with a pretty wet head most days.
