Outstanding

First, great job REI for one day delivery! I ordered on Thursday and received on Friday from OnTrac. Amazing. This is a medium-sized platform pedal and fits my size 10.5 FiveTen Freeriders perfectly without sticking out the sides. The platform width is 4 inches and the length (front to back) is 4.5 inches. The body is only 12mm thick at the thickest area (not including pins). They feel very light, but the actual weight (measured on two digital scales) is 13.2 ounces or 374g, so slightly more than stated on the website. Seems like the perfect design for maximizing grip while minimizing pedal strikes. I am also hoping to minimize shin damage with the smooth-sided pins. It's a lot to spend for pedals, but looks to be a good deisgn.

Excellent

Love these pedals! I’ve had a popular composite flat pedal on my other Mtn bike and those have been great, but decided to upgrade to these for my new bike. LOVE them. Amazing grip, support, and ability to pull up. They feel very secure on super bumpy, rocky, loose technical sections (and I ride a 29+ hardtail). Their thin profile is also a bonus.

Never going back to clipless

These pedals pair really well with my Five Ten Freerider Pros. After riding them for a few months I noticed some of the pins were loose. I threw a wrench on all the pins and I noticed they all weren’t tight. I recently got a new bike and decided to buy a new set of these pedals for my new bike. This time around I tightened all the pins before installation. Most of the pins were not tightened all the way.

Awesome pedals

Switched to flat pedals after 20 years of riding Shimano SPDs. This is the third flat pedal I tried and they are amazing. Very good grip, almost like being clipped in, yet I can still easily put my foot down if necessary.

Great Pedals!

I've had these on my MTB for two years and they grip firm over all kinds of terrain. They have held up through several spills with no damage and the color matched my bike trim. I highly recommend these pedals to anyone who mountain bikes frequently and is not using clip-ins.

This thing is a Tank!

This pedal is the best flat pedal i have used. My feet rarely slip off, even in the rain. I have bashed them against some pretty big rocks and they have held up incredibly. I would definitely recommend these pedals to anyone who wants a sturdy and robust flat pedal.

Awesome mountain bike pedals

Use on my Cannondale mountain bike. Combined with Five Ten shoes you get close to a clipped-in feel and the ability to put a foot down when the trail surprises you.

Will never ride clipless on the MTB again!

I rode clipless pedals for 20 years and these paired with some 5.10 shoes Are perfectly sticky. Now I have the best of easily putting a foot down; amazing bike feel; and the hiking advantage of a shoe.

Great pedals

Wonderful pedals for my large/wide feet. I would highly recommend. Feet quickly find these platforms, and its easy to set foot position, even in outdoor/trail runners.
