Really disappointed that I barely got just over a month of use with this. Used it as expected. I loved every second of this until I split in two yesterday morning. It was really making a difference in helping me clear the knots from my should blades. I'm a strong guy...but not that strong...so it's a real shame. I don't have the confidence to buy again.
I tried this earlier this year at my local REI during the 20% sale and I missed out. Thankfully, REI is celebrating their 22nd anniversary with the new "ANNIV22" coupon that I had to get one. This is the best masaging cane then the the typical long massaging cane in the market. The black elongated knob is pure perfection in size and fits in my computer a normal backpack, so I can bring this with me everywhere and massage my stiff trapezius muscles.
great while it lasted....then it snapped
The AcuCurve cane worked great for me for about a year, until the cane itself snapped clean in half while I was using it on my back. I also have a TheraCane and it seems to be made of a much more durable matieral.
Works great, however a large crack has appeared in the curve by the black bulb and seems in imminent danger of breaking clean off.
I had open heart surgery which caused problems with the cartilage attached to my vertebrate. This tool takes out the knots in my back and gives me pain relief while my back is healing. Way cheaper and more accessible than a therapeutic massage. Because of the size it is very portable and I will take it with me always. Paddlers always need something to take out the tightness in our back muscles.
I purchased this for my son, who is a violinist and often suffers from shoulder and neck tension, and I've been using it as well. This has been amazing for him. It really works out the knots and stimulates trigger points with minimal exertion, because of the shape and structure of the massager. The shape and structure of the accucurve really allows you to get pressure without having to apply a lot of force. The size is perfect - not unwieldy and doesn't strain your arms when trying to use it to work out muscle problems. The textured plastic and rubber tips feel good to the touch, too, which is a plus!
didn't hold up, the black top part snapped off after few uses
Bought before a 10 day self supported bike tour. Small and light to fit in my panniers. Helped relieve tight muscles.
Worked great for getting hard to reach knots on my back, but unfortunately broke on me with about 6 months of usage.
