Bought this jacket 22 yrs ago and wore it until it was no longer able to keep me warm, that was 12 yrs of heavy use. Glad it came back and it's just as amazing as when I got it in '96.
I almost forgot how really cozy and warm a substantial down jacket can be...... The trend to light weight down jackets and Prima loft type products is way over rated. The functional “authenticity” of this retro 1990’s jacket is simply exceptional. Thanks Alex C.
I had this jacket back in 1996 in black. I was very happy Northface made this classic flagship jacket 2 decades later
I walk the dog at 7 am and it can be cold, windy, and slippery. The jacket is perfect for the first two.
I had the Nutse jacket and it was so hot i could not even wear it. This jacket was made for like Antarctica wear it is below zero and you are outside all day. I would try to wear it and just ended up a sweat fest.
