Sizing Notes

Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".

PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and Âľ inch shorter in total rise.

TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.

Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.

Inseam is measured to the floor.

Great pair of pants
Just have these bad boys a test run this morning on a 10 mile fat bike ride at the river bottoms. It was about 35 degrees and light wind. I wore a pair of longjohns as my base layer. These pants not only kept the wind out they were very comfortable for riding! I really like the extra area in the knee, definitely did not restrict my movements on the bike. I didn’t get too hot or sweaty in them either! It was definitely a great purchase! Thanks REI

keeps you dry if they stay on
I bought these to take with me snowshoeing and barely made it a half mile before having to take them off. They were completely falling off of my body when I moved. I cinched the elastic at the waist as tight as possible but it didn’t do the job. The elastic at the waist is a really thin string. Maybe if they a larger elastic band or the side tabs with Velcro they would have stayed up. Unfortunate because they fit really well and I like the articulation at the knees.

Ridiculously out of proportion

Ordered 3x, 20/22 in other clothing. These are ridiculously oversized in many ways. About 6 inches too long for my 5' 6" I have to fold over the waist so the crotch doesn't sag to my knees and the leg opening, zipped closed, is a full 20. When I cinch them for biking it causes ballooning such that I call them my clown pants. Yes, they are dry, but so out of proportion I will only ware then in an emergency.

WAY Too Long

These are very high quality. The waist was almost perfect (just a tad too large), and the legs down to the knee were just right. Below the knee is where I ran into problems. The calf/ankle area was too voluminous; I would have had problems riding my bike with all that fabric flapping around my lower leg. Even more problematic was that these were way, WAY too long for me. For reference, I am 5'4". I would recommend these to someone with much longer legs than I have, and maybe to someone who had large boots to fit under the cuffs.

Perfect Plus Sized Rain Pants!

I got a size up so I can fit these on over my work pants when I have to work the docks in the rain. These pants do exactly what I need and keep me dry even in blowing snow or sideways rain. They don’t have any insulation but that works for me because I’m always layering and work as a shell. My only complaint is that I wish they came in a shorter length since I’m a short woman...still giving them a 5 out of 5.

Not for curvy, full-sized women.

Nicely constructed, but didn't wear it. It will fit women that do not need a higher-rise in the rear. But women with fuller, bigger bottoms the back rise would need to be much longer than the front rise. Definitely will have the plumber's seat when sitting down.

The Best Rain Pants in Every Way!

After trying several different rain/wind pants I settled on these for our trip to Iceland. First, they are absolutely rain proof and wind resistant. We spent 17 days in Iceland and I wore them every day due to rainy, cold (1 degree centigrade) weather and ferocious winds. These pants pulled on over jeans kept me dry and warm. Best of all they dried quickly at night and were ready to wear each day. They had several features that proved to be invaluable as I wore them. 1. I am short and all pants I tried dragged on the ground. These pants were also long but had elastic at the bottom of each leg that I was able to tighten around my ankles. This shortened them enough so that even in muddy areas they did not get dirty. 2. They also had a metal clip on each pant leg that I was able to attach to my shoelace. This kept the tightened bottoms secure and in place. I did not have to adjust the pant length throughout the day. 3. They had 2 deep, zippered pockets which held my phone and anything else I wanted to carry. 4. The pants also have zippers at the bottom of each pant leg. Accidentally put your hiking boots on before your pants? No problem. Open the zippers and easily pull on your pants! Overall these pants were very comfortable and did not make noise if the material rubbed together as I walked. After wearing these pants in the extreme weather of Iceland I felt they were worth every penny I paid for them. I loved these pants and highly recommend them to others.

Very dry, very long

I wore these in nearly 8 hours of constant rain and I stayed completely dry on the bottom. (Can't say the same for my Carhartt rain jacket that soaked through). However, they may be 10" too long for me. I had to use them in a pinch, but there is no way I can keep them. I have no idea why the company would think they need to be this long.

Great in the rain, sleet and snow

This kept me dry on a day where rain turned to sleet and then snow. It won’t keep you warm, so buy it large enough to layer underneath if needed. The legs worked just as I needed; could put them on and remove with my boots on.

No adjustable waist

Fit and length are just right for plus size but the drawstring cord adjustment does not work/hold, so there is nothing to keep these pants from falling down if your waist is narrower than your hips. Returned.
