Never leave the ground without them

This was my first set of nuts after I had collected some cams and needed to bolster my passive protection. It has everything you need. I like splitting the nuts between two oval biners, key locking if you have them, so I have quick access to my smaller and larger sizes without getting snagged on the gate. Why pay more for colors? The sizes are self evident and you could always use nail polish or tape if you need to mark them.

Great set of versatile passive pro!

These classic rocks function like their anodized versions–literally the same. I like the clean, uncolored look of these rocks compared to the colored alternatives–really for no particular reason aside from aesthetics. As for functionality, these are great starter nuts. Their profile is perfect for placement in varying crack/runnel sizes as their slight taper fits most spots. My only regret is not buying a second set! Compared to other brands, I think Wild Country Rocks definitely come out near the top!

Classic Rock Set - Affordable Set

This was my first set of nuts, I purchased approximately 5 years ago. They have held up extremely well and the price cannot be beat. I enjoy how the wires do not tend to bend/twirl around themselves or hold a memory of the last placement. I used nail polish to mark the sizes to make it easier for identification and did not see the lack of anodization as a negative to the set. Pros: --> Very Affordable --> Durable Wires that do not easily kink Cons: --> Slightly heavier than some brands, but this is splitting hairs in my opinion.

Solid

I use these frequently to supplement building top rope anchors in spots where wrapping trees/boulders isn’t possible or sufficient. Never had a placement slip, and find them to be both versatile and durable.

Solid Nuts

Basic stoppers that do what you need them to do. They are not color-coordinated, but that doesn't matter much to me.

Good Nuts

Work just fine. Compared to the colored ones can be a bit confusing reaching for different sizes.
