Comfortable, warm and well made. The material seems durable so far (used them nearly a full ski season now). The fit is on the baggier side but I also don't feel like they look ridiculous or anything so no concerns there. I bought black because there was no other option at the time. Kind of boring but looks fine. I suspect I'll get many seasons of high performance out of these. Due to the the insulation I'd say these are for mostly resort skiers. I couldn't imagine hiking up anything with insulated pants on. Since I do a lot of night skiing in the frigid temps these are great though. My only minor complaint is that the zipper pulls are a little on the small side which makes them tricky to operate with gloves on but I suppose this also means they might not get as easily snagged on anything. As for sizing these seem to run pretty large. I'm 6', 160-165 lb and the medium is a little bit baggier on me than I might have wanted but nothing too crazy.
I bought these about 15+ years ago and have used them a lot for backcountry skiing, on piste skiing, snow plowing on an ATV, shoveling etc. Hard use all this time. I've had the boot cuff areas patched once by Patagonia...thats all. Still warm, look great when washed with DWR process included. These will prove to be my one and done ski/winter work pants.
