Easy, easy, easy

I use this as my rappel backup. It's super fast and easy, though much heavier than a hollowblock. Still, it's simpler and less accident-prone in my opinion. I also really like how you can hang off of it with confidence; it just locks in place. It's the same camming idea as a Grigri (pinching the rope(s)). I've also used it to rope solo or take photographs while on rappel.

Easy back up and peace of mind

I use this as a back up for my climbing system. I use a variety of climbing techniques and the Petzl Shunt ascender flow easily up the rope on my safety line whit very little fuss.
