Paragon grips on 2021 Stump Jumper EVO

Love the feel of these grips with gloves or without gloves.. The form fitting palm design gives you more of a natural grip, not like just holding a tube.

No good for large hands

I have chronic hand issues and tried these on the suggestion of my physical therapist. As with all Ergon products, the fit and finish are incredible and very well thought out. You can tell that they put a lot of attention to detail in the design and they look great. The folks at Ergon always design great products to solve specific issues and they typically post the science and/or data behind their designs, which is really nice. Sadly, I have larger hands and these grips were just too thin for my liking. If you have smaller hands, these might work alright, but they need a larger diameter option. I also found the rubber fairly firm and there was little to no vibration damping from the grip, which brought me back to foam options that were more comfortable. I gave them a 4/5 because I expect they would work great for a lot of people and the design is so well put together, but also recognizing that they won't work for many others with larger hands.

Far better feel than oem

Bought a 18 Trek Roscoe two things had to go the grips and the peddles these grips just feel better than the cheap ones that trek puts on their bikes. I would give them an excellent 5 star if they were ten bucks cheaper.

Very average grips. Look elsewhere

Got these to replace the stock grips on my Salsa and honestly, they feel no different. I figured with the name Ergon behind them and the fact that they're $35 (pricey in my opinion,) I'd be getting something that would change my ride drastically. Nope. Very average grips. Threw the Salsa's back on and it's all the same. What's great about REI is that they'll take them back without blinking an eye. Thanks, REI!

Nice feel, Terrible durability...

The feel of these are fantastic and they have pretty good grip if you use gloves, but not so much if you are gloveless... and the durability is seriously lacking for lock on grips and just for MTB grips in general. If you want a grip that feels nice for a couple months only, then these are for you.

Great on trails!

I’ve used these grips with and without gloves. I noticed that my hands would get tired/numb after a long ride I was hoping these would help elevate that but no, I recommend using these with gloves for best results - good quality for sure - highly recommend.

Comfortable and cool looking grips

Comfortable grips that I have now put over 100 miles on. They were very easy to install and even had nice little markers to set the grips upright and even. I like the Moss color, and wish even more colors were available.

Longer rides on my bike without tired hands

Love the feel and support of these grips. My hands used to start getting numb after an hour of riding, so far I have increased my tide times to one and a half hours, and zero numbness

No mo bar plugs

Luv the fit in my hand of these ergo grips. Also like that I no longer need bar plugs that always fall out and have to be replaced.

Not great

I spend some time dialing in the position for these, road a bit locally, then went for a longer ride (1 hour 13 minutes). I rode over two hours a week ago with other grips and no issues. After 30 minutes with these, I had numbness in my right hand. By 45 minutes, I had left wrist pain, left thumb pain, and right thumb pain. I've never experienced so much pain in my wrist and thumbs while mountain biking in the past 25+ years. I've never experienced pain in my wrist ever while riding. The rubber is also not sticky. I found these rather scary to use on enduro terrain. My hands moved on the grips. The texture causes the surface to move easily under a glove which then causes the glove to also slip on steep terrain. It is rather unnerving as my hands felt as if they might slide off the grips. Luckily, I purchased these from REI and can likely return them.
