Excellent, but factory grips have been catching up
These are great. I ran these for several years on my old bike because they really help with alleviating nerve pain/tingling which I got a lot before these. I have long fingers and big hands and so the extra padding is really appreciated. So I got these for my new bike, but ended up returning them because the grips which came with my new bike were just as good. But these are a significant upgrade over cheap grips. The bolt on mounting system makes them much easier to install than the old school grips. I don't care if they weigh slightly more. I ride for fun, not a profession. When my factory grips wear out, I'll get another pair of these. And yeah, the grip on them is also great.
Excellent grips for large hands—numbness gone!
Bought these grips after having issues with hand and arm numbness from the stock (“ergonomic”) grips on my 2021 Jamis Coda S2. I was getting 2-5 bouts of numbness every 15-20 mile commute. In my handful of rides since receiving the grips, I haven’t experienced a single bout of numbness! Super satisfied. Awesome grippy rubber compound, great dexterity even on hot days with sweaty hands. Easy to mount and adjust thanks to the lock-on design. Pleasantly understated aesthetic for an ergonomic grip. Fat diameter fills bigger hands nicely. Taking one star off because I feel that they could do better in the shock absorption department. Obviously this is an issue with all lock-on grips, but I had hoped for better given the fat diameter.
Really happy with these grips!
I was shopping for replacement grips for my hard tail because my Renthal's (even though I love them) did nothing for me in terms of comfort. Found these at a surprisingly good price point. Slapped them on the handle bars and took them for a spin at Snow Summit Bike Park. I immediately noticed how big of a difference they made in terms of grip comfort and much less hand fatigue. I definitely recommend these grips.
Great for big hands
If you have large hands, stop thinking about it and get these. I put them on my trail bike and feel much more comfortable and controlled. I'll never go back.
Great for my big hands
As the title says - these are wonderful for big hands. Replaced my old sticky handles with these bad boys and it was a great choice.
Very comfortable grip
I use these on both my commuter and mountain bikes. Very comfortable grip. The plugs are easy to remove for bar-end mirrors.
Comfortable grips
The Ergon GA2 Fat Grips are very comfortable and do everything I expect a nice pair of lock-on grips to do. The only reason I subtracted one star is because after only six rides, one bar plug has already fallen out and is lost on the trail.
Best round grips out there for big hands!
I've tried pretty much every major grip out there these are the highest quality imo this model is great for big hands. (anyone that leaves a review saying the ends come off obviously didnt hammer them in all the way) I've owned 4 pairs never had an issue highly recommend.
Missing key component
DID NOT COME WITH SCREWS needed to tighten the grips
Helped with hand fatigue
My husband bought these to try to help relieve hand cramping and fatigue on fast, rocky dh rides and they helped a ton!
