As with many people that get this during the pandemic, you're probably getting a "returned" item...as mine was missing the mounting blocks as well. Thankfully a savvy REI associate saw them in a plastic ziploc bag on another shelf...clearly a return. Now on to the Trial run...20L dry bag with quilt, shelter, pillow and sit pad (<6#'s I'm guessing) needed several retightening stops and man did I ever have to wrench the middle strap to keep it from sagging down to the tire (which does rub the strap if it's not set just right). Lotsa ROUGH TNGA training will test ALL of your gear. This is making the grade, but just barely. I sooo wanted this to be the "one" for it's bigger mouth to hold gear, but it's just Meh.

Great Harness

This harness has not missed a beat since I've had it, handles multi day trips with no trouble doesn't move around once secured on the bars, the only issue for me is the cables still get squished against the bars which for me is a pain but that's the only downpoint to the this harness, so a 8.5/10 for me

Versatile and easy installation.

I installed this on my gravel bike, installation was easy once I watched the Revelate YouTube video to supplement the printed instructions. The 15 lb weight and 20L bag capability provides flexibility.

PERFECT Fit for My Older Trek

I'm outfitting an older bike for one to three night bikepacking trips (gravel roads, improved trails, logging roads, some pavement - not much single track), and the assumption that I'd have to take delivery of and then return a number of similar units before finding the right one for my specific bike was proven wrong by this well-constructed harness - home run on the first attempt! It's big enough to accommodate a sizeable dry bag, and the semi-soft plastic mounting clips can compress slightly to provide an extremely solid connection to the bars. They also do a bit of shock absorbing. I'm also impressed by the extent to which you can really crank down on all the straps. This is a fantastic, well thought out, solidly-constructed product IF it works with the bars on your individual bike.

Grerat handlebar harness because it accepts multiple sized bags for any trip and it lighter than others and also get by the cabling no problem on the mountain bike. Quality exceeds expectations well worth the investment.

Decent gear with some limitations.

Holdsgear super solid. You'll want to protect your headtube because even with the head tube strap there's rubbing and paint damage. Also, because of where it sits, you're limited with the width of the bag when you're riding drop bars.

Sturdy until single track

It's really stable on gravel and pavement. The head tube strap needs a lot of attention if youre bombing downhill on double or single track. It will rotate and loosen and eventually come undone. This is exactly when you dont what your bag bouncing around. If that one buckle sucked less this could be a 4/5 star.

Big enough, but doesn't mount well

I like the size of it and how much it can hold. I use my normal dry bags in it, so that is a plus. It doesn't mount well though. The spacers do not get tight enough to hold it up in place and the lower strap is too low (in the highest spot) to connect to my bike. Instead, I have to sling it up over the headset bolt. The plastic parts are not also brittle. It is not very well executed for such a price. Good chance this one is going back and I'll be getting the Salsa.
