KUHL  Silencr Convertible Pants - Men's

I had an earlier version of these that I loved, but outgrew (lookin' at you, waistline). The current iteration has even better pockets and material feel. I love them, because they can pass for business casual most of the time, so they make for great biking-to-work in the rain pants as much as hiking pants. And for hiking? Fantastic. The fabric is very tear-proof, having accidentally charged through some heavy thorns... Not a scratch on me. Would definitely buy a third time. Only nitpick is that they seem to accumulate static cling pretty quickly.

I looked at about 40 different types of zip off pants. All the major brands. This one won hands down for: 1) looks very sleek & elegant, almost like regular pants instead of bulky cargo pants. I wear mine every day, so I prefer the more casual look. Otherwise it looks like I’m going on a safari. 2) comfortable. These are amazingly comfortable. They thought of every detail. Non-mesh pockets, double pockets in the leg pocket, all zippered, no velcro anywhere, zip away bottom pants open from the back for better venting, no need to wear a belt due to perfect fit, zips along the bottom to convert to shorts without having to remove my pants, awesome strong snap closures for the front and back pockets... and so on. 3) quick dry & seem to stay clean. I got ketchup on these and it just wiped off. 4) no velcro. Velcro ruins cloth seats, sticks to things, is loud when opening the pocket. —— As I mentioned, I wear these every day. So i wanted something that was elegant & practical. I don’t hike everyday, this is more for office work and after work hiking.

Look great, and like how the pants fit. Also like all the pockets. Zipper cheap and hidden so you feel the zipper against your legs. But haven't worn enough to comment further on how they are going to ware. At this point would recommend to a friend.

Absolutely love these. Super comfortable and functional. This is my second pair. Wanted to make sure I had plenty in case they get discontinued.

These are the most comfortable hiking pants I ever purchased. I typically buy pants in the $50 range. But I saw these pants at REI, tried them on, and decided to treat myself. So comfortable are they, and so sharp looking, that I use them as a casual pant at times. While twice the price, they are worth the money. I liked them so much, I also purchased a pair of Kuhl Renegade pants.

Pockets in all the right places. I especially like right thigh pocket for my cell phone. Very comfortable. Just the right amount of stretch. I spend a lot of time in the woods, so I sent them off to be permethrin treated to keep the ticks at bay.

I bought two pairs on sale before heading into Canada and they sure paid for themselves in the cold and mosquito infested Canadian National Park’s.

Best of the best, fit, flex, utility of these convertibles is 5 star. KUHL is best of the best.

Love the style, fabric, comfort and all the 'deep' pockets. My new favorite go to pants. Bob
