Great to keep it organized and easy to transfer

Great way to keep my rope organized and easy to transport! The shoulder pad on this is beefier than the Metolious Dirt Bag II, so if you’re going to be toting this around, rather than just stuffing it into a pack, I’d say it’s worth the $10 bucks for this bag (that’s why I got it, anyway). But it’s also compact/light enough to throw inside a pack of you want to do that too! My only complaint about this is that the thickness of the bag and tarp is not as thick as I had hoped. It reminds me of an old style, basic Jansport backpack. Nothing special or super durable. But time will tell and I’ll hope for the best. Because even still, this sure beats coiling the rope and hoping the other things in your pack don’t run dirt into it!

Amazing Bag

I have used this bag over the last year climbing mostly in Africa. No matter what the crag looks like this bag fits the bill. Roll out and clean up are incredibly easy. The straps make it easy to lose bulk and pack away. If give it 100 stars if I could. We'll made and simply a great product.

Excellent utility and value. Would buy again.

Love this bag for utiliity and value. Fits 70m rope, cinches well. Provides enough space to flake the rope at the crag and preventing pebbles and dirt out. Used it on wet, muddy surfaces in crag and it works very well.

Easy rope management

Used to have rope that would tangle really easily. Now it’s always flaked and ready to go! I fit my 9.5 70m just fine inside as well

BOMBER

Solid bag that packs tight. The built in shoulder strap take the win vs. competitors.

Great rope bag

Great rope bag with an included tarp. I really like the horizontal form factor of this bag compared to the vertical form factor of the other Metolius rope bag. The window to see what rope is in the bag is pretty neat but not useful to me since I only have one rope but would be a must-have if I did have more than one rope. Over all it seems to be well made and is easy to use 10/10.

Perfect simple rope bag

Loveeee this rope bag. The tarp makes it super easy to roll your rope up and put away at the end of the day and the simplicity of it makes it small enough to put in my backpack so I don't even have to carry it.

Good to go bag

The only thing this bag is missing is a zipper pocket on the side so you can put your keys or something small other than that I would recommend 100%
