My Favorite MTB Shorts
I have tried several brands of mtb shorts over the years and these are by far my favorite. Other reviewers have noted the fabric is thin, but I find them to be durable and breathable with the perfect amount of stretch for days-long riding. The fit and length is flattering in the 7" and longer versions. I bought my usual medium and found them to be just slightly snug in the butt, but not worthy of returning bc a large would have been too big in the waist and the forgiving stretch in the fabric made them plenty comfortable to ride in.

Runs very small
I wear a 10/12 in pants and shorts. My waste is about 31 inches and I don’t have hips. I couldn’t even get these over my thighs. I ordered a large to be safe and they say a large is 34-35 inc waste. Not true.

Pretty! But sizing runs small

Dots are super cute but sizing runs small. I'm a 14-16 in pants and the liner fits okay (mildly tight) but the shell is pretty tight. The velcro on hips is only useful if your waist is *crazy* tiny compared to your hips/butt. I can snap the buttons and move around fine but it's tight across the entire thing from waist to hip to lower thigh. Standing is tolerable, sitting, no.

My new go-tos

I liked these so much I bought a second pair. I started in a medium (my usual size), but I have more muscular thighs - so I sized up to make them not as tight around the thigh. I am 164lbs and 6'1 - got a large. They were my go to during my city's trail challenge - 270 miles later! Comfy and I love that they include a lining and are shorter than most MTB shorts - but not too short ;)

Great for petite women.

I am 5' and 100 pounds and these are the best fitting bike shorts I found. I love the length and the adjustable side velcro. I worried about how thick the pad was when I was walking around but it is fine when I'm riding. It has two pockets that zip so nothing bounces out, one for my cell and one for chap stick, key fob and an energy bar. The leg bands stay put on my legs. I'm very happy with them.

Tight and too short

I ordered an XL, even though my measurements are an L because of another review, however these are still tight, they do not fit my waist and the velcro comes undone. The pockets are not big enough. The material is flimsy. The snaps come undone. The spandex under it left marks on my thighs-like I was straight bruised and my thigh skin was nearly ripped by the leg holes of the spandex.

love these

I love the fabric of the shell shorts. Great length. The liners worked well, too. They were super comfortable to mountain bike in. I ordered a medium and I’m 5’10” and around 160 pounds. I ordered based on the measurements provided and they fit super well. Definitely recommend.

Soft and comfy

I love the soft material and the length. These were my first pair of biking shorts and have stayed my favorites. The velcro helps with the fit for a narrow waist and thicker bottom half. I would generally buy medium bottoms (6/8 pants) and the medium Zoic Navaeh 7 fit well.

Love these shorts!

I love these MTB shorts. I went and ordered more colors from Zoic. I am a bit curvy so got the medium and they are a bit loose but the liner isn't loose. I'm 5'4" and a little under 125# and the medium liners are good, the shorts are a bit loose but can tighten. I have not tried on a small for comparison.

Runs Small

I ordered an XS (I'm 5'6" and 115 lbs) and while the liner fit, the outer shorts were super tight and short. The leg of the liner was visible while just standing. I loved the pattern but I'll be returning these.
