Columbia  Low Drag Shorts - Men's

I really wanted to like these but my advice is to pass on these and get the hybrid trek shorts or the silver ridge stretch shorts instead. The material and workmanship is typical top notch Columbia, but the cut is smaller in the waist than other Columbia shorts, they're a bit stiff and although the product photos don't really show it, there is a LOT of elastic bunched up in the back under the PFG logo. A LOT. They look like my 4 year old's stretchy-waist pants and you can feel it pinch on the skin. 34s in almost all other Columbia shorts fit me well but even with all that elastic, these were uncomfortably snug in the waist.

I always used to wear heavy, baggy cargo shorts and after buying one pair, I went back online and bought three more right away. They absolutely do not stain or absorb liquids (already tested). They are light weight, breathable, look professional, and are still capable of carrying your phone, wallet, and keys comfortably. The quality is great, the price is great, and highly recommend making the switch to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you really like Brewha II you will like these as well.…but a word of caution -- they are not slightly larger....they are slightly smaller...and a comparison between the 2 clearly shows the Brewha II has a larger elastic band and greater comfort fit than the Low Drag...I am ordering the next size up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an athletic build (large legs and hips, but small waist) and I got an XL. The fit is true to size! I needed a belt to cinch the waist in the back, but other than that, it fits awesome! I wear to fly fish all the time! Great functionality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shorts fit true to size especially the inseam. Multiple pockets work well for wallet, bill clip, phone and car keys. Only issue is that the zipper failed on one of my pairs and the cost to repair/replace is almost as much as the price of new.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great short if they only fit. I am a 32 Medium waist size and I have several Columbia shorts in Medium size that fit great but these particular shorts run large. I tried going down to a small but they were to small and the medium to large.

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME !!! Worth every dollar .... Dry super fast, blocks stains ( If you act quickly , dropped some sauce on them ) Fit great. Didnt shrink in the wash.. Actually I bought 3 more pairs of each color !

Probably the best shorts I own - they look great and are very comfortable and functional, for fishing, hiking, etc.
