Great price to performance

Ordered the GX group set to build up a 2020 Stumpjumper. The derailleur is awesome. It’s got some scuffs and dings from a couple wipeouts but maintains nice shifts up and down. Shifts could be a bit smoother but you get majorly diminishing returns moving to X01 if you’re not a weight focused. For a weekend warrior trail bike that’s focused on having fun, there’s nothing more I could want than the GX. Durable, reliable, crisp performance while not totally breaking the bank. No issues with parts out of box like other review mentions.

Arrives Damaged

This is my second SRAM part ordered through REI to arrive damaged. In this case the cage is bent. Not significantly, but enough to affect the low limits threshold. The rest of the shifter works very well, however I will need to replace this one for a straight cage. I would want to give more stars but I can't yet.
