Good quality but runs small w/very short sleeves
While I liked the design look and material, the sleeves were very short and the chest tight for a Medium. I returned it and purchased a large and that one is a keeper. This is my first Fjallraven purchase...shouldn't have ordered online without trying it on. REI returns were easy but a hassle to ship back and reorder nonetheless.
Best wool sweater
I own 2 of these because I love them so much. Perfect insulating layer. Size up if you’re unsure. I usually wear L but XL fits much better. I’m 6ft 2 and about 195lbs. Highly recommend. Cozy and warm.
OK Quality; but Chinese made not Swedish
The design and hand of the sweater is good but the Medium runs tight with short sleeves. It's a borderline fit new and any shrinkage makes it unusable. For a casual sweater it's got too much "design" and not enough loose practicality
To Small
when you wash this sweater DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER!! My 2XL shrunk to a super extra small!! Almost child size. I also recommend buying a size larger maybe even 2. The 2XL was a little small for me and I don’t think a 3XL would have been any better. Definitely made for very small people.
The next version of this sweater will be great
The arm length is too short. When new it was find but the sleeves shrink faster than the rest of the sweater. Also buy a size up as it do be shrinking even in cold water washes. Noticed it got a little smaller and sleeves a little shorter as time went by.
Excellent quality!
This is a very lovely and high quality sweater for the price. Other reviews mention short sleeves which isn't my experience at all. I'm 6' with very long arms and the Medium has an excellent fit and plenty long sleeves. Liked so much I ordered another in a 2nd color!
Soft, warm, practical, with great craftsmanship
Such a soft sweater with attention to detail. The neck/collar does an excellent job of blocking light wind. Under a jacket it’s insulation qualities are remarkable. But it’s the softness that is so welcome.
Not just for looking fancy
bought this to wear for hunting and ice fishing. got to wear it as a mid and outer layer hunting in Wisconsin and it preformed terrific! very warm, the collar is a nice touch when the wind picks up.
Great Style / Poor Wool Quality
I have had two Fjallraven sweaters - this one and a different version. Both of them had issues while washing. I washed on wool cycle, with woolite detergent, and flat dried. Both sweaters shrunk from a size large to about a size small. It was disappointing as I love the brand and have many other pieces. Sweaters Made in China.
good sweater
Nice construction and materials. I normally wear a large (6’1”, 180) but after reading reviews and seeing that the sleeves were short, I bought an XL. Sleeves fit perfect at that size, but the body is a little long. Just consider that before buying.
