Terrible design. Do not work in snow.

We live in Buffalo and my daughter has outdoor recess daily. These boots are fine and warm for walking, but horrendous in the snow. Because there is a single Velcro strap and no way to cinch the top, snow gets in through the top immediately. Then snow gets stuck to the Velcro and you cannot close it. As a result, the boots fall off constantly and are at all times filled with snow around d the top. Such a huge design miss from Sorel. Avoid at all costs.

Size chart totally wrong!

The size chart and the real size in cm at Toddler is absolutely wrong, I bought size 6 and it’s small for my kid. Sorel even haven’t changed the size chart yet.

Kept his feet warm

Didn't fall off when he was walking and his feet were warm every time I checked. Conditions; 18° F, in sling against me walking for 1.5 hours & 15° F hill sledding for 1 hour. They did come off occasionally when removing him from the car seat if they snagged on anything, but that is kind of expected to me. It took him a little getting used to walking with the thick soles as he's a southern kid and had been wearing sandals the day before.

Perfect Snow Boots

I struggled to find a boot that fits my kids' odd shaped feet. The other popular brands are impossible to get on. Anything that requires you to squeeze into it, is impossible! Then I found these Sorel boots! The velcro opens and allows even the chunkiest foot to fit inside. They are a snap to get on and get fitting correct. We used to spend 20 minutes contorted to get my older child's feet into boots. Now they can put them on theirselves! We are on our second pair for my oldest and first pair for my baby. Highly recommend!

Excellent for snow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my daughter before winter. She was not yet walking very well, and when I received them I thought these are too heavy. They'll never work. I was so wrong. These boots have gotten heavy use by her this winter. We live in rural Maine, and get a lot of snow and temps regularly dip down low. She wears these to walk to the car, to stores, and to play. No problems at all with cold, wet feet, or being difficult to walk in. She is able to wear them in her rear facing car seat, and her snow suit fits both over top or tucked in. The Velcro is very secure. She carries them around the house asking to go out and play almost daily. Excellent investment at an excellent price. And they still look barely worn after near daily winter use, so I think we will be able to use them for our next child also.

Best Boots - last years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This boot is easy on and easy off for toddlers. It keeps their feet toasty warm. Great quality that you can save to pass down to siblings or easily resell. Sorel boots last a very long time - I am still using a pair I got when I was 16 - still looks great and still warm. A note on sizing- in general my kids say Sorel runs large but if you look carefully a 22 is size 5 in this brand whereas in many others it’s a 6. Check both sizes and buy accordingly.

Kept our toddler warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had these boots last winter and plan to get another pair for this winter. Awesome snow boot for our active toddler (age 2). He never had cold feet wearing these and paired with a wool sock. In fact, I would come in with cold feet and bring him in because I would be worried he was also cold, but his toes were always toasty - even after being out for quite a while shoveling/playing /sledding.

Awesome boots!

The perfect boot for my active toddler. For the kid that likes to veer off track and jump in every snow bank or roll around in the snow, this is the perfect boot. Her feet are always toasty warm. She also is extremely independent and likes to get herself ready, at two years old she can easily put these boots on and strap by herself. Highly recommend!

Great boots, size 5, for 18-month-old!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 18 months and is a new walker, these boots are great! They're easy to get on, the tongue opens really wide so they slide on easy and then the velcro makes them easy to secure. They're heavier than his normal shoes so he takes his time with each step, but we've had snow twice now and he's doing great and loves being outside in his boots!
