The wind was blowing hard and my new jacket kept me warm with it's comfortable fit and it felt like a custom design for my body. I love the vision of the maker to create products in a sustainable manner. Thank you, thank you.
Great and comfortable jacket that becomes real small when packing
Good passform and always stay warm with This jacket
I've used the falketind warm1 and alpha jackets for a while now and they fit me like a glove. So I had high expectations for the falketind down hood jacket. The fit is a little wider than anticipated, especially around the waist – even though I am quite heavy at the moment and also while wearing a very warm wool jacket as a mid-layer. For all orher aspects: It‘s great to have a PFC-Free product and of course, it's very warm and comfy. If I need a new jacket in the next two to four years, I'd be happy to buy a slightly slimmer version of this.
Great isolation jacket that can be used everyday and for activities. Mostly I have used the jacket as an inner layer with a shell jacket on top, which works well. I like how the down has been distributed and that there is less down on areas where there is no use for it, such as over the arms and shoulders. This makes the jacket much more flexible. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that I would have liked the jacket to be a bit more impermeable and the zippers sometimes snag. Otherwise a great jacket which meets all the expectations.
I'm a big fan of this brand. My all family is wearing Norrona products but with this down jacket I have to admit I'm a little bit disappointed. First of all the size. I'm a size L guy but with this jacket a M would have been more than perfect. Way too large and does not fit the way I like that means a bit tighther.. Second, feathers are falling out of the jacket constantly...Every day I have to pull off 5-6 feathers Last and this is my biggest concern, it is not as warm as I thought. I have a similar product of another famous brand which is lighter, more packable and keeps me really warmer (same CUIN) So, I bought this down jacket for my Alpine winter tours but I think I will keep using the other one and use the Norrona for daily use...
This is such a nice looking jacket. I bought it for my boyfriend, and while everything I have bought from Norrona has fit me well, this brand seems to run large on him. He is between a medium and large size in most other brands, and the large was massive around his shoulders and chest. We contemplated returning it for a medium, but the back length was just a couple of cm shorter and the large was already past his butt, so we opted not to. I really wish it worked! It seemed like the perfect multipurpose jacket.
Most comfortable jacket I have. Used it in the mountains, in the city, and on the bike, no signs of wear after more than a year despite the lightweight fabrics. Light rain isn't a problem either due to smart use of materials (synthetic insulation on shoulders, forearms and lower back). Fit is great, runs a little narrower than the ›Lyngen Down Hood Jacket‹ but the sleeves are a little shorter as well. Still long enough for my extra long arms though (size XL at 200cm / 6ft7).
