Softest best fitting snowpants EVER

These are the best snowpants I've ever owned. These pants are the perfect fit for me. They're the softest snowpants I've ever worn, i could easily forget I even have snowpants on. It was -4 this morning and 12 when we hit the slopes and I stayed warm the entire time! I layer with a UA 4.0 base under them, although I don't think you'd need such a highly rated base.. They're the perfect length and fit my hips and small waist. They def have a curve to them to fit us women who have a curvy figure! I normally wear jeans 10-12 and I bought a large and they fit perfectly. Highly highly recommend!

Nice Pants, but not made for petite people

I bought these in the beginning of Jan for a skit trip out west and was very excited about them based off the reviews and other products I have bought from Marmot. These unfortunately did not live up to my expectations. They were a little baggier than I had hoped/anticipated and were not quite as warm as I had thought they would be. They do have a great plus of a built in velcro belt so you can tighten the waist which was a huge plus. The pants are great for stopping the wind and are definitely waterproof. My only complaint is that they are not as fitted as I had believed them to be.

Comfortable warm and dry

Some people might find it excessive that I bought the pants for scooping snow and sledding in my own front yard, but we live on an acerage and it gets super windy and cold. I wanted to be comfortable and warm. I have actually gotten a bit hot in 10-20° weather. I am 5’3” and 155lbs. I can wear leggings or sweatpants underneath. I Purchased a size large and there is plenty of room. And because I am short they are quite long. Without boots, they cover my feet enough I actually walk on them. Once I get boots on I’m fine. I also had to cinch down the inside Velcro to make the waistband as small as the large would go. I don’t know if a medium would fit me better. I love the pants and they work fine so I’m keeping them. I got the mint color and it is awesome.

Awesome fit for activity!

I have had great success with Marmot products, so decided to continue with Marmot and buy the Slopestar pant. After skiing 3 days in them in 20 degree weather, I could not be more excited to have them! The fit is great for activity- they are light and have velcro waist adjustment. The gaiters are super snug to the boot, so no snow is going to creep up. Each zipper is strong and durable. Even with its light design, the pant is really warm! I'm looking forward to wearing them again skiing and in other sports!

Outstanding Customer Service

Picked a pair of ski pants, size based off the chart and it turned out to be too big. Spoke with a customer representative who talked us through the correct size then emailed me a return label postage paid, and over nighted me a second pair of pants. My daughter had the perfect fitting ski pants by 10:00 am next morning. Could not be more pleased with this company. Great looking and well made pants when all said and done!

Super comfortable, worked great

These pants worked great! They're a great value for their price. I wore them to summit Mount Washington in January and they kept me very warm and dry. I have a bigger butt and smaller waist so the cinching inside the pants helped a lot, and I bought a webbing belt to help with that as well. I got a few tears in them when climbing with ice crampons, but it happens.

Fun Ski Pants

I love these pants. I bought them in the scarlet red and they are super fun on the mountain. The color really pops and the fit is nice with overall excellent quality! The only thing I's say is that these are lightweight pants - on days below freezing I would either wear a thicker lined pant or make sure you have a very warm base layer or two.

Love these pants!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these pants about 4 years ago and wore them for 4 ski seasons, it was time to get a new pair. When I was shopping online for a new pair of ski pants I went right back to these pants. They still have a similar fit and comfort as my original pair I purchased! Cant wait for ski season in the next couple of weeks!

Very comfortable

Pants fit true to size and were warm and dry after 4 hours of skiing in snow and warm while skiing on a 15 degree day. Zip pockets are fine. My only “complaint” is they are poufy, not like the sleeker fitting newer styles. The price, however, was pretty good compared to the latter.

Great pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore these skiing January in Colorado and up and down the East Coast for winter and spring skiing and was comfortable in all weather conditions. I am 5'4" and they are a little long on me and had to be aware I didn't lock them into my bindings, which happened a couple of times..
