They fit comfortable in terms of movement. They are meant for a pretty specific body type-smaller waist with large thighs. They look frumpy IMO. They dont have the fit to accommodate an athletic/trendy fit. And if you aren't the specific body type they aren't flattering. They look large but not baggy. Just like I have the wrong size with no shape. If I sized down the waist would be too tight. To note I wear a 27 jeans, 138lbs. Size 4-6 in jeans, but I usually size up to a medium in athetic apparel. I bought a size medium and Im glad I did. Unless you have a very small waist, you couldn't size below the medium for a tighter fit around the legs. At 27 waist it is maxed tightness unless I wanted a pinching look. It looks like this is a motherly fit for sledding. Coming from a mom. Boxy fit. Pro is I can fit layers underneath and the color "olive green" is nice.
These are very good looking pants, and they are comfortable. However, based on my experience, they are only good for temperatures above freezing. I tried to wear them when it was 13 degrees out, and they did not keep me warm at all. The insulation is too thin, I think.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the small for my 12 year old daughter, who says they were very comfortable with plenty of stretch for skiing. Kept her warm but did not overheat, even when skiing sunny days at about 35 degrees F. Very pleased and would buy them again.
I love the fit and feel of these snow pants. The only thing I’m a little disappointed with are the snaps. They don’t close easily and seem to be of poor quality. I expected better clothing hardware from Marmot. At least the zipper is quality.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nicely insulated and well fitting pants. However, I am 5‘9“ and the pants would be better if they were 2 to 3 inches longer in the inseam so that they would cover the tops of my boots well. I wish marmot made tall Sizes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these recently for a ski trip to Park City. I love the color and warmth. The cut is not as flattering as I’d like and they could use more pockets. Overall I am pleased and would consider repurchasing again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the perfect ski pants! They have kept me warm and dry during a full day on the mountain. The vents are also perfect for if it does get a little warm.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality material, I appreciate the adjustable waist. Enough insulation to keep me warm, but weather is pretty mild right now.
This is my second pair of Marmot ski pants. I’m 5’4” and I need to get the medium hemmed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pants for skiing or any outdoor activity. They kept me warm in -20 weather.
