Gear stayed dry and looked good all the while
I bought this pack cover for my REI Flash 65 pack just prior to a backpacking trip to the White Mountains when we had rain in the forecast. It worked like a dream! I got the strata spring glow pattern and received multiple compliments on the trail. Definitely worth the money to stay dry!
Bring a garbage bag instead
This expensive rain cover broke the first time I tried to put it on my pack. The elastic band snapped immediately while putting it in place.

REI make amazing products, this rain cover is ultra lw, super protective, can be used as a tarp, dew cover for leaving your pack outside your tent overnight and whatever else you can think to use it for!
Used it day and night.
Put it around the backpack, outside the tent, during the night. It rained off and on during two of the nights and while we were hiking. Kept everything dry. Easily fit my 65 cu in backpack.
Works as described and is super convenient!!
I'm going to keep this simple. Ever wonder why ducks never appear to be wet? Its because of their feathers and the natural oils on them. Which is also why they stay warm, even when in freezing cold water. While this cover wont exactly keep you warm in the arctic, it will keep your gear dry. Highly recommend this product and all of the other size variants (we bought a 45 and 60 liter)
Worked for my 65l backpack
Used it for may 65l North Face backpack and it was a prefect fit. Easy to put on and doesn't take much space when folded.
Is what it is
It’s a pack cover and seems to work pretty good. Haven’t needed to pull it out on the trail yet but the fit is right on for my M Flash 45. Material feels great and securing system seems to work well too. I’m pretty happy with the grey color also. Happy happy happy

Leaks
30 minutes into a a storm and everything in the top is wet. Give it an hour and anything in the bottom is well on it’s way to being soaked.
