It's a sack and you stuff things in it
I enjoy stuffing things in this sack. If you own things of moderate size that could potentially be stuffed, this is your sack. Things I would not recommend stuffing into this sack: small bears, steak, oxygen, radioactive socks, and magic markers without caps. Other than that I've experienced great success stuffing.

Could be better
This stuff sack looks good in the box, but once open, you see that it is missing a key feature: there is no storm flap. That's the circular piece of material inside the opening that, once the sack is filled and the cord drawn tight, helps to keep out moisture. I've never seen a stuff sack without this. Additionally, the drawcord 'system' is rather hard to close fully and does not seem to work nearly as well as the traditional basic cord closure that has been around a while.

Good basic stuff sack, nice price, mystery closing

Good basic stuff sack at a great price. The handle on the bottom is a good feature and missing from the pricey sleeping bag stuff sack I got this one to replace. The material is nice and thick. I'm not an UL'er so the slight extra weight isn't a problem. The only issues I did have with it were what seems like an unnecessarily long draw cord that doesn't tuck out of the way easily and that there's nothing on how to use the complex closing mechanism. It has at least two mystery loops without any intuitive use for them. Maybe they're supposed to do something with that draw cord? No way of knowing.

great lil stuff sack

Great durable product that is going to be perfect for organizing gear for all of my future adventures. Have already used it on two trips one a Utah and Wyoming ski trip where I used it to separate my clean Ts and underwear from the rest of my dirty gear. And the other a Big Sur trip where I was dependent on it to keep my long underwear and layers dry and clean. It performed perfectly in both! Material is pretty heavy duty and a little heavy for backpacking but other than that i definitely trusted it to keep my stuff dry from light precipitation and wear and tear. Also a great sized pillow!

Nice bag

I actually came looking for a new extra large stuff sack like the blue nylon ones REI used to carry that were light weight and very easy to store. I could fit two sleeping bags into them quite easily, and wanted more of these. I guess they aren't made anymore so bought this bag as it was the largest I could find. It isn't as large as the blue nylon bag so not as happy with it. It also is made of a heavier material so doesn't store as well. Maybe REI should bring back the extra large nylon stuff sacks as they were great.

Works as expected...

I was surprised at how sturdy/thick the fabric was. Although not like a normal stuff sack with compression this works great for my dirty clothes while traveling. Order a larger one than you need. a 20L is a good size for several 3-4 days worth of dirty clothes balled up and separated from my clean stuff in my duffel bag...

Perfect size for underquilt storage

I use this bag to store my underquilt long term. It's perfect for that. On a trip I'll pack the quilt into a smaller compression bag and use this bag for waterproof storage at the campsite.

High quality merchandise

This stuff sack has beautiful stitching which I carefully examined while waterproofing the seams. This is the highest quality stuff sack you can purchase for the money. Well worth every dollar that I spent and I will purchase more of these stuff sacks in the future. Buy with confidence.

Sticky

Bought this product from REI. Inside of bag has a sticky feel, I assume it is the residue of the 'coating' they use to make waterproof. Older version was smooth inside and out, easy to stuff. This bag is not easy to stuff and I do not like the stickiness of inside. Will be returning to REI. Would not recommend, will not buy another.

Useful for more than just camping/outdoors

I use these stuff sacks to hold a range of items - from laundry to snacks, even craft supplies. The large ones have massive capacity! I love these sacks for their durability - they last & last & last & last ......
